  1. Got rid of their Halloween and Christmas event and now close Sept 21st so that they can focus on their most popular times. We have seen this book before... And the online complaints are the same as the Six Flags passholders.
  2. The average age of having kids has increased over the years, so there are many grandparents that still fall in this category. Heck there are many parents that fall in that category LOL. Regardless, there is an entire age group that knows Peanuts that take kids to the park.... I think they could go with no IP and the kids would still come. I guess they look at the revenue generated from merch sales and compare to the cost of the IP and make a business decision.
  3. Yep, or the grandparents taking the grandkids to KI and the grandparents grew up on Peanuts.... And the grandparents is where the money is at. I see a lot of grandparents around the park wearing Snoopy stuff they bought at the park!
  4. There is never a shortage of lines in the kiddie area. There is a reason KI doesn't offer the pre-k pass. I don't think the kids really care what the rides are called or themed. They just want to ride rides LOL.
  5. I took one home (just kidding for anyone taking it serious LOL)
  6. “Notably, our 2026 season pass program is off to a strong start,” continued Zimmerman. “Early unit sales of 2026 season passes are pacing well ahead of cumulative pass sales at this same time last year, with the average season pass price up 3%. The robust sales trend is driven by the strong appeal of our all-park add-on, reflecting the value proposition of our unmatched network of parks.” Of course 2026 season pass sales end of July/beginning of August outpaced sales at the same time last year as they were not being sold then LOL Who here experienced that season pass price went up? Every post I saw across multiple fan sites of the different parks showed the price went down. I guess there must be some outlier somewhere lol.
  7. Paint each one a different color and call it m&m's brought to you by m&m's
  8. Don't call the park and ask Wonder if the news media would get the same outcome if they called....
  9. But at the same time, at this time of the year, with no "events" going on and being between Haunt and Winterfest, won't it be majority passholders not likely to spend anything more than redeeming their add-ons? And is this a test to see if the demand is there and then possibly cancel Winterfest at the parks that have it next year? Let's face it, if the demand is there for days like these and a few others to add, much more money to be made sprinkling an additional 15-20ish days across the season than go to the expense of Winterfest set up for the roughly same number of days.... It is a much bigger loss if the weather is bad for the Winterfest run than if these November days turned out to be poor weather.
  10. They added days to CP, KD, Carowinds and Wonderland as well.
  11. In other news, now that this is signed, Phantom is getting rethemed to Peanuts like in the survey now
  12. All that cheese and you can tell you had chili on it. Meanwhile where's the chili LOL
  13. This kinda sums up the social media backlash crowd LOL: Everyone claims they bought their passes EXCLUSIVELY for Haunt, but when they start charging $10 for the mazes suddenly all of the haunted houses are run-down run-of-the-mill boring snoozefests that aren't worth a nickel out of their pocket. If that's the case, why did they buy a pass just to go?
  14. They have added more to it this year: https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=1199954812177118&set=a.557491916423414
  15. They just ban people calling too much While there is a lot of chatter on social media, the real test will be once the events begin. FB is full of people commenting that never even visit the park. And trolls, and whatever else.
  16. Get 'em up before Six pulls the budget
  17. Someone getting banned for calling the park asking questions
  18. It happens LOL. Yes it was the fastest and tallest wooden coaster at the time.
  19. SOB was not longer than The Beast.
  20. Six Flags simply gives everyone a discount
  21. And how did that work out for them LOL. They said it would return in what July and it still sits. Then when someone questions the park, they get banned....
  22. ^Better than giving everyone season long FL
  23. They have worn the sense of urgency stick out a long time ago... They gave a little scare to some people when the Haunt pass was sold out, but back to their old tricks.
  24. If they cared they would have expanded it previously before cutting the Prestige pass price. It is basically full already today and probably will be most days as these passholders tend to visit more.
