What? What does this mean? The scarecrow I name him Bob! This was the first name I saw given to him Are we sure those are scarecrows?It looks more like an angry New England villager to me. You know, like something from a witch hunt, or Legend of Sleepy Hollow. When I first saw the pictures of them, I immediatley thought of an angry mob of townspeople. Sort of like those at the end of Beauty and The Beast... I sure didn't think scarecrow. Do you think crows would be fond of them? Although I'm not the one who said they were scarecrows I'm "just saying". But I do agree they don't fit the typical mold of a scarecrow. They appear to be something left "soulless".

I have been giving some thought to joining a coaster club this off season in order to hopefully be able to go on a media day like they did for Gatekeeper. I'm leaning towards the Greater Ohio Coaster Club. They seem to have some nice events and its not expensive at all for a family membership.

Funny I have loved and read every single post in this thread. Yes read them enough to know that was the third time someone said they were leaving.. I have a strict policy about not arguing on the net, makes things easier.

I was thinking about going so I looked at the cams to see how crowded it was but ended up taking a nap when I woke up two of the cams were different. Now one is on a water slide and one on Diamondbacks que.

Well I have found out the last few months that a free photobucket account only allows for 10 gigabyte of uploads a month. Once you pass that they shut off your pics until the next month rolls around. It normally takes about 15 days anymore for me to hit my limit. So every time you relink those pics it works against that limit. I have thought about deleting a lot of the pics I have in this thread so I would be able to add more but a lot of them are important to the following discussion. I currently have 63 pics in this thread that get viewed enough on here to reach that limit.. Just another reason why quoting with pics is a bad idea.

A couple of weeks ago I posted a pic of the auger way out by the bolt barn. It looks like there is an excavator/ back hoe of some sort out there now..

I go alone every now and then. I will take my headphones and people watch. I'm normally pretty good about talking in lines and have met a bunch of great people but sometimes I get sandwiched in between a bunch of teenagers, that's when the headphones come in handy..

I would love it just for the history..

I have wondered about these holes myself. From what I can tell looking at other coasters is that they seem to pour another bit of concrete on the footer when they place the support. It looks like a concrete shim. I'm thinking that these cutouts are to make the footer and the shim a more cohesive unit. But it's just a guess..

As an enthusiast I would LOVE it if an Intamin Giga were to be installed. But I do feel they are a little extreme with their forces for families. So given that B&M have higher capacity, higher reliability, and are more rider friendly if it was your money and your park who would you invest with?

I was there last night also. The footers are really close to both A.E. and F.D. Seems strange that they would go so wide as to be sitting nearly on top of two other existing coasters with all that room behind to go long....

I am totally down for Zoning.. In fact I am reading Mason's City Council Minutes. Now, just gotta make a trip to do a little building permit query, since Mason is in the last decade with no online permit system. Perhaps they are that way for a reason??
