At CP there are a few thousand people lined up for ERT even on weekday mornings. At KI they are a few hundred on a Saturday..

There has only been one change to the park that I cannot accept. Woodstock Express should be returned to The BeastIE.. It is a ride that deserves more then just a generic franchise name.

I think so too, just wanting some sort of confirmation.

I just want to know if Kings Island is going to offer 9 months to pay on your pass like Cedar Point is this year.

I got my passes last year the day they were available on the six payment plan.

Ironically I ride in the back, I love the feeling of being snatched over a hill. And I always stand up straight with my feet out a little bit with all the important stuff moved forward. Never and I mean NEVER under you..

I'm not a small guy and Magnum does the same thing to me. Its ejector air is really extreme. So you might want to skip that one, or at least brace yourself...

I also love Mantis. I suggest anyone who says B&M are "force-less" to ride that. And yeah it could be very painful if you were seated wrong. I have rode it about 6 times this year and I ALWAYS make sure my best friends are pulled up in a safe position. If your careless with the jewels you get whats coming to you..

I <3 Raptor.. you should go ride it.. Oh and Millennium Force, Top Thrill Dragster, Magnum, Maverick, Corkscrew, Gemini, Wicked Twister, Blue Streak, Gatekeeper, Mantis and Iron Dragon..yeah that's about it..lol

I will be renewing Platinum for my family. I am going to add Kings Dominion to my parks visited list next year along with several trips to Cedar Point and my normal 50-60 trips to Kings Island.

Every time I ride Iron Dragon I am surprised at how slow it is. I absolutely love Flight Deck I have rode it 16x now this year and probably 50 or so in the last 4 years. So Iron Dragon was one of the coasters I looked forward to the most when I made my first trip ever to Cedar Point this spring. I have rode it 3x in 5 trips. Also there was a thread on Pointbuzz about which coaster would be better to start a person on Iron Dragon or Blue Streak, I chose Iron Dragon..lol

9 to 5 is a classic. I was hoping for a blitz but this is a nice addition. I wish there was a bit more detail like a flyover/pov video. On the web site it shows a hill that looks pretty tall.

Jay, as you can see in this photo, the crane is sitting where the sliding transfer will be. The crane is lifting parts of the train maintenance / storage area into place. The station will be on the opposite side of the crane. That was a brain fart on my part I completely meant it was the maintenance shed.lol. It was a long day. Sorry

It is the maintenance shed that is being built. It's amazing how much it looks like Diamond Backs.. I wanted to get some pics but there were no good spots from the ground to photograph it. And I didn't really want to o up on he tower. I did think the track looked much "pinker" in life then on my iPad. Edited to fix my brain fart

Yay I'm heading to the park now I will grab a few pics. No I'm not going because of this. It's my sons last night of freedom Mason starts back tomorrow.

I was talking with a crew member of Firehawk the other day at a party and he told me that the Banshee crew was going to be hand picked. And that only returning employees would be allowed to work it. He said its Kind of a big deal Like an honor to be chosen for this. So that should give you some hope for the new ride. On a side note when I was at Cedar Point the other day Raptor went down first thing in the morning and the crew was teasing one of the workers saying she had hit a button out of sequence and this caused the malfunction. So maybe they have a few "newbees" on the crew right now as many kids are heading back to school..

This is a little different. Just across the river from the old plant is a bar I think it's called the whistle stop now. They had a cage that hung out the front of the building and a monkey would sit there and people would give it cigarettes to smoke.

I drive past the old plant all the time. Hey KI-orig-emp did you ever see the Monkey bar? I never saw the monkey but people around here love to talk about how funny he was. I guess that kind of thing would never take place in today's world.
