  1. You really ought to be careful using double negatives.
  2. You should know by now that this board is very good at circumlocution.
  3. That is correct, but King Kobra was not.
  4. Steel Dragon's new trains are from B&M, not Vekoma.
  5. Why can't you accept the fact that the majority of people like B&M's just as much as they like Intamins? And being unreliable also does not equal a great coaster.
  6. You never answered my question. Have you ridden X2? You have a nasty habit of judging rides before you actually sit down and ride them for yourself, similar to the way you are already judging the 2014 addition by just the manufacturer alone. You can't just look at the X2 concept and declare the ride incredible.
  7. Have you ever ridden X2?
  8. It was an accident that riders got stranded, however.
  9. There is a sidewinder inversion right after the cobra roll. The ride order is this: Launch Cobra Roll Sidewinder Turny Fluff MCBR More Turny Fluff Corkscrew Brake
  10. I actually really like Flight of Fear's restraints. They're very comfortable.
  11. Everything except the inversions:owls seems a little bit of a stretch.
  12. I guess you learn something new every day. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Vortexfan.
  13. No. Houses can get demolished. Goodness. Mr. Terp is beating me to the punch seemingly in every thread!
  14. I see no label. Just page 11.
  15. ...no. X-Works is the generic customer name on every B&M order. Also, for the record, the "country of origin" tag is on every shipment, wether it be within the US or outside. Darn. Interpreter beat me on my first point again.
  16. The dinosaurs will stay for however long their contract says. I believe Kings Island's is up for renewal soon.
  17. How can you tell if they're for the station or not, kirbias? EDIT: Those are definitely not station supports. They look like transfer track, though. EDIT2: that's a really pretty shade of blue, btw.
  18. YoungStud mentioned a cooler. It should be noted that outside food and drink are not permitted (omitting a special dietary need--you go to Guest Services for that) inside the park. You may however pack a cooler, leave it in your car, and eat in the parking lot when you're hungry. Make sure that if you leave the park you get your hand stamped so you can come back in.
  19. 50+, actually.
  20. Whatever the new addition is, it needs to look really cool from the midway. Vortex is seriously the most photogenic coaster ever.
  21. The carousel is also at the park entrance.Crypt, whose posts occasionally need to be...interpreted.
  22. So what you're saying Chris is that it'll be a knock-off Zathura?
  23. Too many people on this board are biased in opinion when you talk about the age-old B&M vs Intamin debate. Intaminallday, judging by your username, I can tell you're thinking about what you want, not what the park needs. The park does need an invert, in my eyes at least. We need a good, solid inverting coaster with a great capacity, and an invert is one of the best ways to go. You talk about the designs being "outdated" and "gimmicky," but you fail to explain why every model continues to draw huge crowds. Why does Raptor have one of the longest lines throughout the day at Cedar Point? Why is Alpengeist so loved by Busch Gardens fans?
  24. This can't even be considered evidence at all.
