Anyone here been to Soak City recently? Is the water still cold? Debating a trip down but its not hot enough yet to get in cold water. Learned the hardway last year when we visited CPs SC early In the season. The wind + cold water sucked! Thanks!

Whatever you do, if you get either of the inside seats, plug your ears before hitting the lift hill. The anti rollbacks are insanely freaking loud. I find the restraints comfy. If you are going to ride a flyer, Superman it!

They have to secure licensing for everything they play. They cant just play anything they want. The Cash Coaster is new. Saw a few episodes of it. Its evolving slowly. Youust remember, KI is creating the content for all of the parks. Or at least putting it all together as per the press releases.

My first ride of the year was Fury. Glad I started small. Was shaking so bad but it wasn't nerves, it was flippin cold!

Michigan's Adventure still had a similar one last time I checked if you really miss it that bad. I remember riding KCKC once before it was removed.

My guess is that its kind of like AYCE buffets. They make money on some but lose money on others.

Kings Dominions is still running strong and is much better than KI IMO.

Its the same at Carowinds and Kings Dominion. Most of them work but some don't. Some emit a high pitched noise instead of dino sounds and others don't respond to the "user control panel". My kids love them only for the Giant sand box...

We are similar. My wife has spent more on merchant these last two seasons with the meal plans than we did both prior seasons combined. She had to load the kids up with Carowinds and KD gear our first visits of the year since we weren't spending money on anything else. Had we had to pay for food for 7 people, the merch probably wouldn't have happened. Same as with the drink cup. We bought one for each park so far for $14.99 and have yet to refil it with soda. Water is all that goes in it. If it wasn't offered, we would take our own and and they wouldn't see a dime.

Shockwave doesn't take up that much room. A B&M anything in that space wouldn't be that big of a deal. The only land that could be taken is the trees hiding starlight and that would kill that area.

Midway market is what I am hearing. Nowhere else. Since it was not originally listed as a location, adding it now with a surcharge is still better than not having it at all. I still won't partake in it with my family but I am sure some might. It appears that they "budget" $10 per meal and since the last time j checked, MWM was $15, I see the reason for the charge. Still stupid but its at least another option. Out of the four CF parks we have been to this season, Carowinds still has the best and best tasting food options for the plan.

I305 has them as well but they are soft and flex just enough for you to feel it. Still nothing like Fury's air time.

From The Chicken Shack patio on Sunday, I pulled 2.87 down and 3 up. For free public WiFi, its perfectly fine!

That was the WiFi when Fury opened. Practically useless unless you were almost in the station.

The Geese have been there for as long as I can remember. Saw one of them on the roof of one of the IS buildings yesterday for the first time. Kids thought it was hilarious! I don't do Spinny rides either but discovered the new Space Buggies was tolerable and enjoyable! Its my Two year olds favorite ride. The Eagles are iffy for me. Depends on the day.

Not only that but two other members of my group today thought it seemed faster. Might have been the reason for my disorientation. Regardless, great ride!

We were able to ride all of the coasters before noon. Spent the afternoon in Planet Snoopy with coasters here and there. It was yet another great day in the park. Panda Express on the meal plan made it even better! Larosas from the Festhaus, not so much...

Flame was lit during ERT. A few hours later, nothing. Mist was on all day.

There is a new pole for FUNtv by The Racer and the poles by The Beast are clearly for chain link fencing. (Its still rolled up beside them) The Bat is also wired for TVs now. Didn't check out Adventure Express as the line almost filled the entire que and for us, not worth the wait. Playing "spot the WiFi AP" was our game of the day. They are practically everywhere. Finally made it all day on a single charge. Not having to use 4G is a great battery saver.
