  1. That would be Kings Islands food truck. Edit: Beaten to it.
  2. We were eating at The Chicken Shack when Banshee was stopped on the Lift. After 5 or so minutes, 4 staff members harnessed up and started walking up to the train. Was kind of hoping we would get to see an evac but it looked as if they were just talking to the riders. After they came down, the train moved on and ran its course.
  3. Today was our second visit using the dinning plan and so far, we have had absolutely no problems using it. Granted we have on used it for Pizza twice (FH and IS) and The Chicken Shack Twice. Hanks is on the list for next week.
  4. Depends on if you are referring to the daily unlimited or the season long. No sharing on the daily is to be expected but the season long is two meals a day. I purchased 5 season long plans for my family of 7 as my 18 month and 4 year old don't eat much. The lady that sold them to us didn't mind as it was only two meals per day and what we did with them was up to us. So far, its still too much food depending on where we eat.
  5. Grove City is the easiest to get to. Easy off, easy on. Welcome to my neck of the woods.
  6. If it is priced the same, now I really question why it doesn't transfer parks if you have a Platinum Pass. The lady that sold them to me said that even though they are owned by the same company, the money is not the same. Interesting.
  7. If you mean this upcoming Sunday, hopefully you have a ticket for the private event scheduled that day. (The park will be closed to the public.) Forgot about that.Looks like two weeks to recover from opening weekend.
  8. We always did the ol' "what can we get" question when we got to the counter. Will know more when we go back Sunday.
  9. In just two visits, we are already a third of the way to paying for ours. Best purchase (next to platinums) of the year!
  10. Just purchased our plans and enjoyed The Chicken Shack as our first meal. Four strips and fries and I am absolutely stuffed!
  11. The Chicken Shack was delicious! Its pricy but its a lot of food too. Use the dinning plan and its even better!
  12. And Diamondback will get much love from me today! Would have ridden Friday but the line for it was longer than the line for Banshee.
  13. Leaving for the park now.
  14. People watching is half the fun of going to the park! If I lived closer to the park, I would park my but next to the fountains by LaRosas and relax. I love that spot with the smell of the Pizza, sounds if the fountains and the feel if the mist blowing from the fountain jets.
  15. HA! Edit made but still funny!
  16. I was told on Thursday by the worker at the ticket booth that it will not. It is only valid at Kings Island.I do wonder, if other parks decide to offer this plan and you have a platinum, will you be able to put a plan from each park on your pass, or only one from the park at which the pass was processed? Or at that point, would they perhaps offer a "platinum season-long dining plan" good at all parks (for a much higher price, of course) That would be great. We are planning on visiting all of the Cedar Fair parks from Cedar Point to Carowinds this summer and food is going to be a big chunk of change.
  17. I carry 5 passes in my wallet during the summer and not once did I ever mistakenly give the wrong pass to a kid. Process I g thus year was much quicker without having to wait for the cards to print.
  18. Call me crazy but I still prefer Diamondback! The Beast is fun, Banshee is better, Diamond back still wins in my book though. They are all very different experiences though.
  19. 45 minutes from entrance to exit. Got in line at 9:45 last night.
  20. I enjoyed the wait for Banshee at night and FUN TV was part of it. The lights, the TVs, the que and the Banshee scream over and over. The atmosphere was alive and exciting rather than the typical "waiting in a boring line forever" feel. My kids loved watching the TVs in all of the lines we waited in. I think the TVs are a great addition. I just hope the content changes regularly as to not get boring after the second visit.
  21. Was surprised that everything my wife bought yesterday had a 10% discount. Its a much appreciated discount! And thanks to it, I am now the owner of a Pink Banshee T-shirt. She wanted to make sure she could find me in a crowded park. So if you pass a shaved headed pink Banshee shirt wearing guy in the park, that would be me!
  22. I am 5'10" and 180 and have a difficult time getting on Drop Tower due to my chest size. (Thanks P90X3). Last season it was rough, this season I am sure will be even harder due to another round of X3. Guess I will have to learn to squish down into the seat. Good luck and enjoy the ride!
  23. Thanks! This summer of fun just got a lot cheaper on the wallet! Our meal plan will be paid for by the end of May. Wonder if it will transfer between parks for those of us with Platinums. I shall enquire tomorrow.
  24. For those that have seen the details, does the dinning plan include any entree and side at the participating locations is us it only certain items? Before standing in line to buy, it would be nice to know the details! Planning on adding the option for my family of 7 tomorrow. Since we visit so much, I think it will work out great for us. Dropped 40 bucks yesterday for just a pizza and a burger for one meal. We will be in the green after only a few trips!
