Kings Island Fog
Cedar Point is the best for the morning fog! Nothing better than taking a friend who hasn't been to the point and they cant see the top of Millie and TTD.

Blocking on-ride pictures?
When I was at Universal and Disney over spring break, almost everyone was taking pictures of the screens with their onride photo on it. Never once did an employee ask anyone to stop, remove the image, etc. The employees just smiled and let people continue to do it. To me it didn't seem like the parks cared about whether or not people took pictures of the screen. I have so many pictures from onride photos I took with my own camera from Universal and I.O.A and they didn't mind one bit, I love that and wish Kings Island was not as strict. I am going to buy pictures for special moments like my kids first roller coaster, family vacation, etc. but sometimes there is a cute photo of my kids and I would love to just take a picture of it and hate to just let it go. It's so hard for me to see a picture taken of my kids being cute and not be able to have it and I find it sad so anymore I try not to even look at them at Kings Island unless I know its an occasion I need to buy it. I understand why, but I also don't like it at all at the same time!

Tips for Introducing someone to coasters
Let us know how things turn out! All joking aside, I would just have a good time and not pressure him, just go with the flow.

Columbus Zoo extends Dino run by 8 weeks
Went today, the Dino boat ride was an hour wait after lunch, walk on an hour before close. I like the ride so much better this way, I wish they would keep it. Rode all the Jungle Jacks landing rides with my 4 year old, the old Sea Dragon Coaster looks like its best days have long long past! It was a good ride down memory lane for myself and is now my daughters favorite coaster. Had a blast showing my daughter how you fly the Mission Macaw! The Dinos at Kings Island are much bigger and better, and made me think how incredible it would be to put a boat ride through Dinosaurs Alive! Another note, if you ever go the Columbus Zoo you must see the Animals on Safari Show, we see it every year and this years is the best I have ever seen, it is an amazing show! I also looked into a family season pass, went ahead and bought one because like Kings Island if you go twice it pays for itself and the parking is free.

Banshee Construction Progress
Hopefully they have lower prices by then or at least a goldpass discount. We were looking at the Banshee shirts today over where its being built. Something like 16 to 18 for shirts, I personally like the 16 dollar ones better, the hoodies are around 35 dollars ( I like the grey with black print). We decided to wait to buy them but I know my wife would have bought at least 5 for Christmas presents if we had goldpass discounts there, I am going to buy that hoodie for Haunt! My wife and kids ate Banshee twists while I rode Delirium, I'm on a health kick right now so it was a good ride to avoid temptation. It did look pretty though!

diamondstack 6/16
You heard Diamondstack several times in just over an hour? Were you on the phone with Stud? Kidding, I'm guessing you went to the park yesterday and heard it several times, so I assume it was stacking a lot yesterday? So he was trolling about Diamondback stacking yet you heard it mentioned several times yesterday?

Tips for Introducing someone to coasters
Funny you mention that, my first time riding TTD for one split second I found myself looking up thinking twice about it, just for a second! Then I seen two young girls walking back to get in line talking about how they have to ride it again. I then realized I let a little sissy thought enter my very manly brain and proceeded to ride TTD holding on to nothing, I had to check myself, I wasn't going to leave my all important 'man card' behind at CP!

Tips for Introducing someone to coasters
Were not talking about someone forcing their kid to ride a ride, were talking about a young man with a girlfriend who loves coasters. Stop being a little (parental advisory) and go ride coasters with you lady before she looks at you as one of her girlfriends and not her man!

Tips for Introducing someone to coasters
I would bring his girlfriend also, Its time to 'Man Up', grow a pair, get er done!

Tips for Introducing someone to coasters
Sit in the middle of Diamondback train and sit in an ODD numbered seat so you can hold his hand if he gets scared.
-
Tips for Introducing someone to coasters
Take him straight to Diamondback's exit, stand there and watch the smiles coming off the ride, nobody crying or screaming, everybody is happy they rode it. Then get him on the ride ASAP. The rest will be history. I don't believe in the starting small ride talk, just get right at it and then everything else will be cupcakes.

If you owned Kings Island
I know my first order of business would be to finish the pavers throughout the park just so my wife wouldn't bring it up anymore!

What is your favorite roller coaster at KI?
Great Pumpkin Coaster, first ride with both my daughters. 2 year old next to me and 4 year old sitting behind us. I can see the picture I bought from where I sit, my 2 year old is gripping tight smiling while the 4 year old has her hands in the air laughing. My favorite KI memory to date.

PTR 8/9/13 evening
I know I have seen those two in the yellow shirts at KI before, more than once.

You might be a KI addict if you...
If you read this topic backwards and suddenly take notice your reading comments from 2005, you might be an addict.

If you owned Kings Island
So in other words, you would do the same thing The Crypt would do!

Diamondback restraint thoughts
I probably have ridden DB a couple hundred times and have never felt unsafe. I do understand people wanting seat belts because I felt the same way my first few rides and then I read on this forum how the restraints worked. I highly doubt they will ever add seat belts and I would be asking many questions if they did!
-
Diamondback restraint thoughts
Sit in the front row your next ride and don't hold on, you will be out your seat before the train even makes it down the first drop. I have already tested this theory and there is NO WAY I would have stayed in my seat.
-
Diamondback restraint thoughts
No it wont. Your coming out of that seat in the front row hanging over the first drop.

Banshee Queue Music
Uncle Kracker, just kidding! If were playing Ozzy, I'm going with Crazy Train.

Flight Deck to become the Bat?
I was around during the Bats life, would you want someone to re-name lets say Adventure Express the Son of Beast 30 years from now? Not happening, but do you get my point? I could live with The Bat being reborn as a wing coaster or something really cool but don't stamp The Bat label on Top Gun or now Flightdeck.
-
Flight Deck to become the Bat?
Why not? It isn't very costly, it would compliment Banshee and it would bring more guests over to that area. It's not going to sell tickets, waste of money. Although I have seen people put rims on a pinto, I would rather CF spend their money more wisely.

Flight Deck to become the Bat?
I'm completely clueless why any of you would want or think KI would re-theme flightdeck to The Bat. Sounds like a waste of money that I would much rather see put toward a new attraction, just my thoughts.
