What is your fear?
I have several family members who have claimed my great grandfather (passed away in 1980) has visited them at my grandparents home, he apparently walks the upstairs hallway at night and peaks in the rooms. I haven't stayed the night there since I was a teenager and then I would lock my door and sleep under the covers! My aunt claims she has actually spoken to him and he paused and listened, then he left. My aunt is an RN and is very trustworthy which freaks me out even more finding it hard to believe for her to make something like that up.

Banshee Construction Progress
I believe its been mentioned they're working on Gatekeepers restraint system to solve the problem you mentioned, Banshee should be good to go without the restraint tightening on those with no pecks, bulk up!

FAST PAY GOOD IDEA BY CEDAR POINT
I just remembered two years ago my wife found an envelope with 100 dollars or so on the floor of our Beast ride. The envelope had a boy and girls name on it, so she gave it to the ride-op who said he would give it to his supervisor. I assume a parent wrote their names on it but should have put a phone number as well so we could have called them to say we turned it in. The fastpay system would be ideal for parents with older kids who split up at the park.

Kings Island Dreams
I had a dream some young man was trying to pursue a young lady on this forum, then I check KICentral to see what happened and realized I was only dreaming.

FAST PAY GOOD IDEA BY CEDAR POINT
I thought Funperks was a good idea, this idea doesn't matter to me one way or another.

"First Day" rider
I pass on first days, I patiently wait for shorter queue lines.

Cedar Point will be announcing a new attraction for 2014 as well
Magnum XL is my favorite steel coaster in the state of Ohio. A nice air-conditioned dark ride would be incredible at CP, and I agree with all the Boo Blaster statements, time for an upgrade in next couple years.

Do you wear a fanny pack to parks
It doesn't matter, be yourself. That's what makes you the man! Always be true to you and the rest will follow or fall off!

1 last ride--what would you choose?
No free funnel cakes?

Eiffel Tower question
Do they really invite random people to come up to the International restaurant to watch the fireworks and eat pizza? My wife to this day wonders how we have yet to be asked? I could care some but I am curious?

Do you wear a fanny pack to parks

Flight Deck to become the Bat?
I wonder if by speeding up Banshee at the end of the ride will make it a huge progress in B&M coasters, as much as I love DB, after the MCBR it is boring! Maybe not for a newbie but I personally could care some after the turn!

Diamondback restraint thoughts
The ride-op on Sea Dragon stood next to the train and gave us the quote " Hands up or down but not sideways". Then he proceeded to manually operate the ride, times sure have changed, at least for most places.

Bring back attractions/add new attractions
I happen to like the gorillas but monkeys are cool too! I hope one of you billionaires builds a dream park here in seasonal Ohio soon, I will enjoy it so much, right up till you go bankrupt, then I'm going back to that park in Mason,Oh.

Columbus Zoo extends Dino run by 8 weeks
I just discovered with our family membership we get 50% off or free admission to several zoos across the country! We have never gone to the Cincinnati Zoo, with 50% off, plans will be made soon! Always research memberships, because it wasn't written on the brochure that was given to me.

8/15 Early Evening
You just have to watch the queue. Sometimes I see a single rider on split seats and I ask them if I can ride with them, other times nobody is in a line such as Stud said so I take a seat. I have rode DB two or more times with over an hour wait several times, you MUST watch that you don't take someones seat who is putting stuff in a bin! I was hoping nobody would bring this subject even up so they don't put an end to it, but I doubt they will unless problems occur with people sitting in seats that are taken.

Predicting Crowds This Saturday 8/17
If ERT was an hour on Saturday I would go, I still might if I wake up early enough and feel the need for a Beast ride.

Guests Say The Darnest Things
I was corrected for calling the Scrambler the Scrambler by the ride-op at the Columbus Zoo, apparently they put up a sign outside the ride calling the Scrambler the Dust Devil? I told the ride-op politely you should pay a bit more attention to the ride you operate, It is a Scrambler! My two year old is going to be confused why she can't ride it at Kings Island now, they have a 36" limit, so she could ride with big sister and myself. They had a blast smashing into old Dad.

These aren't the droids you're looking for. Move along. Confused?

Guests Say The Darnest Things
Not at Kings Island but at the Columbus Zoo yesterday I heard a very loud mouth mother telling her children multiple times " Look kids the Brown Bears are eating fishy crackers just like us". After she walks away an employee says, "those aren't fishy crackers, they're bits of sweet potatoes". As obnoxious as she was I couldn't blame him one bit for biting his tongue until she left.

August 15 kings island trip!
How do you know you didn't see him?

Worst roller coaster you've ever ridden.
Ride the middle row in the back of the red train (second from last row). I have sat in every seat on both trains this season, that's the one you want.

You might be a KI addict if you...
If your riding the train at the Columbus Zoo and your waiving to a group of employees who just kind of stare confused for a moment and then one waives back to be polite. Then I take notice my four year old is waiving to everyone she sees. At least I had another addict with me!
