Activity underneath Flight Deck?
^^NoChickens, any ideas on a name for that? Cause that is golden. How about Shock Tower? Also, for Invertigo, what about To Hell and Back?

Activity underneath Flight Deck?
If there is a new "spooky" theme for AZ, what would we call Drop Tower? Delirium? Invertigo? Or would we just put Banshee and Flight Deck/The Bat into a new sub section named Spooky Hollow? Lots of questions to be answered.

Activity underneath Flight Deck?
Woah, really? That is strange, it's been there since the first days of the ride.

Remnants of past attractions
Maybe not a coaster car, but the old go-karts from Days of Thunder. I can't think of any recent coaster other than FoF with a grey car and orange restraints.

Removed Rides
So, the loop from that infamous coaster. Wouldn't it be cool to find out where it actually ended up?
-
Banshee Construction Progress
Just imagine how that loop will look from the midway.

Banshee Screaming Contest
I love how the Haunt greeter is running the competition. He's my favorite thing about Halloween Haunt.

Activity underneath Flight Deck?
Sure, that website was fake, but I loved that new logo. Maybe they were just tired of having the planes sitting there. Is that one fighter jet model right next to the staircase still there?

Remnants of past attractions
Can we count DB's splashdown as remnants of Swan Lake? The lift hill chain mechanism for SOB is still behind the station. Also, Phantom Theater's "porch" for Maestro is still there, but now a large animatronic ghost pops out from behind it.

Vortex Is Sinking.
Aha! Good one, sir. But I beg to differ. Although Banshee will be an ultra-popular ride, most won't want to wait in line for three hours, and because of Vortex's large capacity its popularity will not be drained too much.

Banshee Construction Progress
^ I'd think that they wouldn't need to store shipments in the parking lot because the only time they're working is during the week when construction is going on, and then they could just bring the trucks into the park. Of course, I've never built a roller coaster, and seeing how past roller coasters have been built, you're probably right.

Banshee Construction Progress
I'm still waiting for a picture from I-71. I would love to see how our beloved Banshee looks from out there.

All time banshee rider?
Can he just be shunned?
-
Banshee Construction Progress
I'd love to see how far they get by the end of Haunt. Any predictions?

All time banshee rider?
It would be fitting if a woman would be the one to ride Banshee the most.

Fall Bring-A-Friend Days
^It's a good business idea as well. Bring in more people on Sunday at discounted price, and you're making more than you would on a fall Sunday at regular price.

Banshee Construction Progress
Does anyone have a picture of Banshee either from the midway or I-71?

What theming would you like to see at Kings island?
I said this in the ouimet thread, but I wish DB wasn't in Rivertown. Maybe in AZ would have been a better fit. I loved how pretty Swan Lake was.

Banshee Construction Progress
So are they done for the day or will they keep building?

If Ouimet was CEO during the Paramount acquisition...
Good question. I think that SOB would not have lasted long after the 2006 accident. Maybe DB would have taken its place, because it would have fit in Action Zone during that time period with the color scheme. Geauga Lake would have stayed open, and maybe if we were still to get Banshee it would be in Firehawk's place. It would be neat to have Swan Lake still. I still think that we would have Peanuts, but Hanna Barbera might have stayed. Ouimet seems like a guy who likes tradition. Also, I think the Crypt would have been replaced earlier by a new family dark ride.

Flats
I'm thinking of something to go where the Tower Gardens sit. Maybe like an Electric Rainbow or something. Sure, it's a little bit amateur, but it's fun.

Banshee Construction Progress
It's going quickly! I think that's the last piece for the lift hill, then it starts down the hill!

Halloween Haunt 2013
I like that the metal detectors and wands are out for Halloween Haunt. If they can stop the "Haunt hooligans" that seem to come every year, I'm totally okay with it. I just wish that anyone under 13 would be turned away at the gate for Haunt. I understand the money and other things involved with letting them in, but Haunt is not really appropriate for them. Plus, when kids get scared, they have the loudest screams. I like myself a scream, but not every three seconds right in front of me in a maze, showing me where the scares are.

History of the Haunt
If Ty's not on the site anymore, I'll add for 2013. 2013: Two new mazes, a scare zone and a show were added this year. Board to Death: (Coney Mall Arcade) A board-game themed maze with lots of blood. board by Diamondbacker, on Flickr Delta Delta Die: (Coney Mall, next to Dodgems) A sorority themed maze where the girls are out to get you. Backwoods Bayou: (Between Diamondback and Backlot Stunt Coaster) A fright zone themed to New Orleans and the Swamp. Ed Alonzo's Psycho Circus of Magic & Mayhem: (Kings Island Theater) A Halloween remix of the regular season show. Also new is the Scream Like a Banshee contest, where on Friday nights parkgoers will be challenged to scream their loudest for a chance to win Banshee Media Day Passes and a trip to Knotts' Berry Farm in Los Angeles, CA. Returning Attractions: Wolf Pack, Club Blood, Slaughter House, Urgent Scare, CornStalkers, Madame Fatale's Cavern of Terror, Tombstone Terror-Tory, Holiday Horror, CarnEvil, Freak Street, Cemetery Drive, Nightmare Alley, Graveyard Shift, Hot Blooded, Blood Drums. Cut-Throat Cove, Massacre Manor, Mysteria and Madame Fatale's Dead Inn Feast did not return.

Banshee Screaming Contest
I'd assume they'd want a woman to win the contest, since the Banshee is technically supposed to be a woman... That would be just weird for a guy to be in alot of makeup and costuming to look like a Banshee.
