***UPDATE*** Hey guys, Universal has revealed a press photo from one of the new attractions... take a look: http://www.screamscape.com/html/uo_-_hhn_xmas_0.htm The photo is from a scene in "Silent Night, Psychotic Night"... a Christmas gone wrong kind of house. Kind of looks like a play out of the KI book!!! I guess we'll see how it works out for Universal this year! -Hauntguy

I'm getting excited! Also, it seems like Canada's Wonderland won't be having ANY TYPE of event this year for Halloween. Their site has NO mention of Fearfest or Halloween Haunt, and the last operating day on the calender is Oct. 7th! Could this mean no haunting for the wonderland? -Hauntguy

Hey guys, Just came across this site, http://www.midwestinfoguide.com/worlds/081607/, it has a few haunt construction pics from Worlds Of Fun. This year, the events name was changed from "Halloweekends" to "Halloween Haunt"... I guess it goes to show that we should expect the same for Fearfest here at KI! Looks like a little bit of "Halloween Haunt" from Knott's is trying to make it's way to every CedarFair park, I can ONLY hope that something makes it's way to KI! Knott's is the KING of theme/amusement park haunting... one can dream right? -Hauntguy

^ Agreed. I'd be happy with "Halloween Haunt's Fearfest" ... I guess we'll just wait and see. But so everyone, and KI, knows... "Scare Fair" is already a registered to another haunt. But I think they'll get away with it by putting the "Halloween Haunt" before it. Also, TOPGUN1993... Halloween Haunt is THE BEST haunted event you can go to besides Halloween Horror Nights at Universal. It's what started the theme park haunts! -Hauntguy

I've been going to KI literaly every year of my life (20 years)... I remember the Enchanted Voyage, the dolphin show, the old zoo monorail, etc. I can't remember when I heard about KIC, although I remember going to PKIU for about a year then too KIC. I've been a member since... Jan. '04. So in 2008 I will have been here for 4 years. Wow. Where does time go? -Hauntguy

Yeah but "having the park to yourself" with free drinks and dinner buffet... One would look past any bad weather. Unless ofcourse it something that shuts down the rides! Then I'd be pi**ed!!! -Hauntguy

The ONLY way I can think of that would REMOTELY affect KI... is if there's a leak or something and they evacuate a LARGE (several mile radius) area around the pipeline! Other than that, this WILL NOT affect KI! -Hauntguy

Prefab steel building are generaly very fast to put up (week and a few days, maybe less)... We have one on our property (used to build haunts in) and it was set-up in four days with about 10 people doing it! -Hauntguy
