^yeah that’s true if we’re talking about going over and being on park property, flying over park property anything like that. But if I want to set up a webcam at my house that’s facing Kings Island that has absolutely nothing to do with the park and there wishes. That’s my property and the park has no say about that. Absurd to think anything otherwise.

Someone should set up a webcam or something outside GWL that's always recording Orion that way we don't miss out and testing. Should be a nice week next week with warmer temperatures all though there is rain some days. Sunday would be a perfect day for testing with it being sunny and 60. Not sure if they work on Sundays though.

Really hope somebody can record some video this week of testing from gwl. Or the park gives us more footage! Can’t wait to see this thing Go through the elements!

^Dollywood is defiantly up there for me. Absolutely beautiful, especially the mountainside. Have you been to Silver Dollar City? After visiting Dollywood I was blown away by its sister park. Both are great but wow SDC is special.

I wanted to start a thread for people to discuss their favorite amusement or theme park that isn't Kings Island. This was a tough call for me as I was deciding between Busch Gardens Tampa and Holiday World. Ultimately I chose Holiday World. That park has so much charm. The 4 rollercoasters are some of my favorites of all time and you can't beat all the free stuff. Great family park. Great Staff. Great Water park. Whats yours?

Definitely see that for older rides. Do the newer ones like Diamondback and Banshee really on drive wheels or gravity to get from station to lift?

I thought that when I was typing the post but some rides like thunderbird use the entire underneath portion for que. maybe there’s a portion of it that’s not used that I missed

Most but not all stations are elevated so that you have to walk up and down a set of stairs to reach the station so I must ask, what is the point of this? I just find it weird because not all rollercoasters are like this ( a few at Busch Gardens Tampa come to mind.) Just curious if anyone has any insight on this?

Kings Island has been very well controlled in its time since Cedar Fair. Recently events such as Grand Carnivale, updated haunt, and the return of winter fest have been really nice additions. The 5 roller coasters they have added have all been really awesome additions that will last a long time and have monster capacity. (Obviously not Firehawk). Operations are great and areas like the front entrance and Action Zone look nicer. I also think Cedar Fair’s theming is getting better, hopefully we will see that with Orion. The two things I wish Cedar Fair would work on would be, 1 dark rides: yes we have Flight of Fear and boo blasters but I think more family additions added in non Planet Snoopy areas of the park would be beneficial. It’s nice to have a kids area but as a park wouldn’t you want more things the whole family can do and spend time together walking around the park. The second reason is that I think it’s always good to have more air conditioning or rides that shelter from the whether. This makes it so more people come to the park when the Forecast isn’t that good and people stay longer when it’s too hot or rains. 2 water park: Cedar Fair has done a nice job adding another wave pool and recently added a slide complex but honestly the water park is still way too small for how busy it gets. They need to add more high capacity slides and possibly another lazy river. Only two of the slides at the water park can families ride at the same time. Amousement parks and water parks should be about having fun with your family/friends so I think a lot of these single person tube slides should be replaced with multiple person round rafts or other options

Skyflyer starts at $5 in the morning on weekdays usually raises to $10 around noon if it starts to get busy. On the weekends it will start at $10 and raise accordingly. Slingshot used to start as low as $5 but they do not offer that deal anymore and they went as far as throwing away the sign. On weekdays it will start at $10 in the morning and usually raises to $15 around noon if it starts to get busy. On the weekends it will start at $15 and raise accordingly. gold and platinum pass members recieve a 10% discount on there tickets. My recommendation is to buy tickets in the morning if you plan on riding. The tickets are good for one time use anytime the day of purchase so buy before the price increases. If you don’t know if ur child/family member/ friend wants to ride then go ahead and buy the ticket and if they decide they don’t want to ride Kings Island always offers refunds as long as you have your ticket.

i have seen both levels of the elevator open most nights this year for the fireworks.

Personally while I really enjoyed Fury I found the pacing towards the end of the ride to really slow down, especially the Helix. This is why I'm not concerned about the length. I'd rather have a little bit of a shorter ride that holds Tt's speed until the breaks rather than one that milds at the end. Also anyone thinking a 90 degree drop here, I think that is unrealistic. The dive coaster trains use spring wheels in order to have a 90 degree drop and I don't think that would work in the same way with the mega trains. The only thing im concerned with at this point is will this ride have a bunch of long drawn out airtime hills like Diamondback or stay low to the ground like fury. If the ride stays low to the ground for the most part and does some cool elements than I will be very excited.

Dumb question but how do we know that Ls3L is the last support section connected to the start of the drop and not the last support of the lift. Maybe ls3L is actually the one before the drop because the plans are only showing the lift? Idk im just asking.

1st everyone is entitled to their own opinion yes, however all these comments about the layout and all this other crap like seriously! We literally are seeing lines on a paper. We have no idea what this coaster is actually going to do in terms of elements. I remember when Banshees “layout” was leaked the same way and I thought the layout looked dull but come announcement time it kicked ass. 2 someone fact check me on this but if the track in question currently sitting at the b and m plant is indeed for king island can’t we rule out a wing coaster? From memory I thought wing coasters used the wide track such as the track found on dive coasters

This literally happens to every ride. The layout always gets leaked because it becomes public record eventually. Don and Chad won't be affected by this. They would still do teasers and all that other stuff for the gp, teasers are for a lot more than enthusiasts. Your filled with anxiety? uhhh what dude, why are you taking this so seriously.

I think all the people who have the screenshot and aren't sending it just like the attention. Sad really. Wouldn't't be surprised if some of the people claiming they have seen it really haven't.
