According to this website, paramount parks is opening some new theme parks around the world. I've only heard of two so far in Spain and London. I'm a little curious as to if this is the same company that owned all those American parks way back when. I also wonder if these will be a success or if they won't last very long. What do you think about Paramount's decision to open international theme parks? I would definitely be okay with something big coming to the park id much rather see a new section of the park rather than just a new ride

That looks like a while ago considering Flight Comander, King Cobra, and Lion Country Safari are there and Flight of Fear isn't. Also it looked like Action Theatre was under construction at that point, so thats got to be about 1993-ish?

I think that it looked better without the trees because you could view the shops better. But then again the shade is pretty awesome during the summer.

Believe it or not, I have another question about Kings Island history. When and why did KI change the landscaping in International Street. If you aren't sure what i'm talking about, take a look at these photos: See what i mean? In the first picture the walkway was parallel to what i think is a slanted slab of concrete with shrubbery of some sort on it. And now there's grass and a bunch of tall trees. When did they make this change and why? I've seen pictures with and without trees there, but never with the trees small and growing. Thanks once again, DBI

Here's a little somethin somethin I threw together the other day. Just uploaded it today I love to see how much KI has changed since it opened! Also I thought the mister bean squidward vid was pretty funny sonofbaconador (but then again, im a teenage boy)

I think that they should find a year-round function for it. Seems like a bit of a waste to have a giant building in Rivertown that only gets used at the end of the year. Are they still keeping the tomb theming on the outside of the ride? I haven't been at KI since before they announced crypt's fate.

Hey Guys! Just wanted to let you guys know about a cool new thing on Google Earth. If you go to Kings Island and put the little "street view" character on a path in the park, you can act view it like a normal street view image and "walk around" the park. It's pretty neato as the pictures are very high quality and they seem to be quite recently taken. I first noticed this feature with amusement parks when i was looking at Busch Gardens Williamsburg and tried it out. Just today I've looked and seen that Kings Island, Cedar Point, Michigan's Adventure, Dorney Park, California's Wonderland, World's of Fun, and Canada's Wonderland (which were taken during the beginning construction of Leviathan). And thats just the Cedar Fair parks. I think its prettty cool and think you guys should go check it out! Hope ya like it, DBI
