  1. I myself never got to go on Phantom Theater but I really wish I could have ridden it, I think that it would be really cool if a similar ride were to open.
  2. My favorite amusement park is definitely Cedar Point because of all of the rides and I really don't like water parks but if I had to choose it would have to be Splashin' Safari.
  3. Depending on where the train gets stuck the park uses different tools ranging from cherry pickers to cranes to people, to get the train up and running as soon as possible.
  4. ^ The ride's lifts are at an angle, it is the exact same ride as Invertigo at KI. You are thinking of a Vekoma giant inverted boomerang like Goliath at SFNE, Stinger and Invertigo are regular Vekoma inverted boomerangs.
  5. Kings Island My mom and I drove down to Kings Island on Wednesday to upgrade our gold passes to platinum passes. We got into the park and started with Flight deck. The lines for it were, as usual, very short. After Flight Deck, we rode Invertigo and the lines were very short; the blue paint job is beautiful. When we were done in Action Zone we went to back to Rivertown and rode The Beast twice, the re-tracking was amazing, the ride felt like it was just built. Diamondback was the next ride we stopped at and we rode in the very back seat, we got so much airtime compared to other seats. It was about 2 after that so we decided to eat lunch, we split a burger and Sprite. Next, we headed to Firehawk and Flight of Fear but we didn't ride due to the fact that both of the lines filled the queues and came out of the gates. Since we were over on that side of the park we proceeded to ride Adventure Express and Delirium. After Delirium my mom started feeling a little sick so we did a quick ride on Flight Deck and then we went home. Cedar Point Saturday morning my mom and I took the 5 hour trip from Indy to CP. We got to the park around 4 and the park was almost desolate. We waited about 10 minutes to get on Raptor(my first full circuit invert) and the same for Wicked Twister, which we rode after Raptor.Next, we made our way to the back of the park and waited about 5 minutes to get on Magnum. After that we walked to Gemini and walked on, I rode on blue then red and i think red is more fun but blue is smoother.Mean Streak was next and I loved it,it's my new favorite woodie after The Beast. We would have ridden Maverick yesterday but it was down for the evening so we made our way to Mantis, my new favorite stand-up B&M, which I power rode 6 times in the front and second seats.I also made the mistake of riding in the back seat. We then headed to the front of the park and enjoyed a short ride on the soon to be deceased Disaster Transport and the Delirium-like Maxair. After that we rode Blue Streak a few times and had one final ride on Raptor before calling it a night. I will be posting a trip report of our second day at CP but will be too long to be in this one.
  6. My only complaints are that X-Scream is not at all a roller coaster and that many coasters are far superior to Intimidator.
  7. I read the 2nd one in 3rd grade and have been looking for the first one for a while but can't find it anywhere.
  8. I always ride Invertigo first, then FoF, then marathon on The Beast. Its always in that order.
  9. I personally have always liked B&M stand ups and B&M inverts and have hoped to get one of the two at Kings Island.
  10. First of all, cool project. Next, one record breaker in the 90s was Steel Phantom, it had one of the largest drops at the time.
  11. Thank you so much for doing this, you made my life just a bit more interesting.
  12. I'm not trying to be mean, but we only have 2 inverts considering Flight Deck is a suspended coaster not an inverted coaster.
  13. The longest thread that I could find is "Guests say the darnest things"
  14. Amazing work, I wish more people did things like this.
  15. Wow, that seems cool, but does Orlando really need another theme park.
  16. ^^^so would i, i havent been able to meet anyone and i think it would be pretty cool.
  17. I think they should trade Crypt for Firefall at CGA, but thats just me.
  18. Actually, yes, just look at Indiana Beach and Holliday World. Indiana Beach is in fact actually smaller than KI in 1972.
  19. I really like Flight Deck night rides, especially in the front seat.
  20. I went on Saturday and it was insane, I waited an hour and a half for Diamondback, two hours for a night ride on The Beast, and a whopping forty-five minutes for Flight Deck.
  21. So far I have 3 Kings Island shirts and 2 Posters. The shirts are 2 for The Beast and 1 Flight deck, and the posters are Vortex and The Beast.
  22. Cool. Great video, one funny thing is that i was there that day.
  23. I doubt that we will get a large coaster for 2013. I'm actually hoping for another flat ride.
  24. Didn't you love how many people answered The Eifel Tower? I was surprised how many people said The Beast or Vortex.
  25. Shaggy's post made me want to look at the page and I found the question and just started screaming because of the answers.
