  1. No, but the park is in danger. Stand Up's stink in general and SFKK is a stinker in their line up.
  2. It is NOT wrong. It speaks as of the time it was made. And coaster specials are made frequently, but the old ones get shown again and again. Were they not, someone would cry out "Why don't they ever show the old ones? I want to see how things were..." Terpy, just sayin' Do you need to object of EVERYTHING? Sorry... TTD Maverick, sorry, but a little wry.
  3. ^ I think we're overanalyzing a bit now
  4. I'm very disappointed in this whole switch. Mainly because I grew up on Nickolodeon, with Spongebob, Rugrats (make's me sad to think about it), and Wild Thornberry. I do like Snoopy, but it makes me sad that Nickolodeon is getting smaller and smaller (Nickolodeon Studios is now shut down, I also loved Nick Gas, but lets talk about that another time) It really shows the downfall of a tv network. It will never be the same with shows now like iCarly and Zoey 101 compared to shows like Rugrats and Doug. I can't believe Nick Magazine isn't happening anymore. It's very sad, especially for me personally. I think kids recognize characters from Nick more than Snoopy. It's so nostalgic for me waiting for Runaway Reptar to watch old episodes of Rugrats. I loved all of the movies, episodes, everything. My personal favorite was Chuckie. Now that is gone, and I can't even find reruns. It brings back memories, this whole thing, and it makes me very sad that it is leaving. To some it may seem like a small deal, but to me it's much bigger than that. R.I.P Old Nickelodeon, R.I.P Nick Universe and my childhood.
  5. I love your picture.
  6. Some would disagree and say they are exactly right about America!!!! I love me some buffet Some would say that post had incorrect grammer. Obesity is a big problem is the USA, and places like buffets cause lots of it. Sigh... Huh? Don't you mean grammar? Also, all-you-can-eat buffets are a more inexpensive food option for a larger family rather than eating at other places if they don't have time to cook. Also, it is healtier than other restaurants, and some of the food can be uite healthy. If we're playing that game, do you mean "healthier", and "quite"? ..Ya. Some of the food can be healthy, not traditionally at a BBQ restaurant. And people eat huge amounts of it, and even if it was "uite" healthy, eating pounds of it isn't.
  7. I love 50. Some people are uptight. DA BOMB

  9. All you can eat buffets are exactly what's wrong with america.
  10. Water coaster...Water coaster. But if it's a log flume, it better be ONE HELL of one...
  11. Cough Cough *Racer* Cough Cough
  12. Will DB be open during Haunt? It doesn't say so on the website, but I'll be gravely disappointed if it isn't. Firehawk and Racer, KI, but no DB? Really??
  13. I'm about to cry. Is the world really going to end in 2012? I hear it everywhere and it just creeps me out....Please give some sort of explanation :(
  14. Anyone noticed while you're pulling into the station for Racer how much gum is on those walls? Um, ew.
  15. You're good, but for next time, lots of members including myself, were complaining about members using Terpy's signature remark.
  16. Wow, that sounds awesome (the second part of your post) and ITA with the whole post.
  17. QUOTE (Jason B @ Aug 26 2009, 08:37 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My kids are 9, 5, and 2 and they love HH. They know that its people in costume and that these people will try to scare them. Every year we give them the option to leave and they tell us they want to stay. They enjoy the atmostphere of the park. Last year we waited in line for urgent scare and inside the que lines there was a scareactor that bent down and growled at my youngest and he looked at him and laughed. They proceeded to give high fives to each other for the next 10 minutes. Its all on how the kids are raised. The parents that freak out because there kids are scared are just plain ignorant...if you know your kids are scared of monsters then leave. The park does do a good job in telling parents whats about to happen and there are signs explaining it. Everyone should be allowed to stay in the park if thats what they choose. Please do not make the parents who enjoy the atmosphere of HH feel like they don't belong. If we are paying to get in the park or are using our season passes then we have just as much of a right to be there as the next person. Based on your opinion you expect everyone with kids should be thrown out...yeah thats a great business move. Can you just see that? Park employee: "Hi welcome to Kings Island. I see you have kids under 12 so I have to put a wristband on them" Park guest: "Why..what is it for?" Park employee: "Oh, starting at 6 we will find you and have one our staff escort you out of the park. You have to be out by 7" Park guest: "Well, thats not right. I want to stay all day" Park employee: "Well, Im sorry that is the way it has to be...Thank you for coming..Have a nice day" I am assuming from your post you are probably in high school or are just young and are not around kids. Please think before you post. I bet there are quite a bit of parents on here that post and read these forums. By posting on here I was not trying to offend anyone. I just wanted my opinion known. Thank You While I can understand your point, HH is no place for children. Last year children ruined our trips through 2 different haunts after waiting in line for close to an hour on each. The children could not handle it so the cast basically had to stop so they could just get through it. And this is not coming from a high schooler, it is from a 36 year old adult with a child. While it may be annoying, HH is a place for children. Kids that want to be scared, that is. Like blueangel04.
  18. So, I guess I'm the only who says The Vortex? Iv'e always have called it The Vortex. But thats the only coaster I put THE in it, except for The Racers I guess because I only hear it from KI tourists.
  19. My take (doubt anyone cares): It looks good, but I'm getting tired of B&M churning out the Hypers all the same lately. Behemoth, Intimidator, Diamondback, it's all getting a little *yawn*. Anyway, if I'm near Caro I'll definitely be going.
  20. I kicked someone out of Flume's line today because she refused to put out her cigarette after I spieled twice and had one of my associates go tell her to put it out. You go girl (or boy!)
  21. You just corrected yourself
  22. I black out a lot on coasters. At the bottom of Diamondback/ Millennium/ Dragster's hill, and especially on Backlot Stunt Coaster in the helix. You didn't answer the question.
