very nice pic dane! our fearless leader comes through again! I dont remember the arms looking like that though. those almost look like the legs on the giant spider in the movie Wild Wild West. I wish we coudl get a close pic of what the cars and stuff look like now.... but again, thank you to dane and his source! :cowboy: EDIT: hey guys.. i did some more research. once i found out that the rides product name was actually the "flight trainer" i did a search for Intamin Flight Trainer on google, and got some good results. The best picture i could find was actually from the kings dominion model which was identical to ours. Knoots had a version of the ride called the XK-1 however i cannot find any pictures of theirs. I wish this ride was still around! :cowboy:

i've said it before, i'll say it again.. 05 is the year of the beemer at pki! dont know if it will be a record breaker, but my best guess ins just a normal invert, or custom flyer... not necessarily a record breaker. :cowboy:

hey guys, just read over on coasterbuzz that all enthusiasts are invited to these tours. Does this mean there will be a limit on hwo many people? i mean i dont want ot be in a group of 300 people touring the construction, i was counting on smaller numbers, and a close session with Jeff.... i mean i wanna meet the guy and probably wouldnt be able to do that if there are sooo many people around. Do you think this will be a bad thing? Do yhou think a lot of people will show up? :cowboy:

whatever happend to PKI's Webcam? I used to check it daily to see how crowded the park was for an evening visit... and i dont recall ever bein able to do so this summer... is the webcam still up and running? I miss it! :cowboy:

hopefully with the new additions, capacity will improve greatly. I for one am counting on the fact that everyone will be in line forr the new stuff, and the line for the older slides will be dramatically shorter! Also looking forward to it being less crowded in the wave pool, and possibly even the MAIN PARK! :cowboy:

this is a link to a used rides website. the link is to a picture of a ride for sale by a park. the ride is just like flight commander, and is made by intamin. Hey, i searched the forums and couldnt find thsi question answered directly, so i figured i would just ask everyone else. IS FEARFEST FREE FOR ALL PASSHOLDERS? I know its free for 2004 passes, and i'm pretty sure its f ree for me, as i have a gold pass this year, but my friend only has a regular pass, and his g/f has a free one day ticket. Will their regular pass, and one day admission ticket work for fearfest? Thanks :cowboy:

hey.... i think i remember reading somewhere a few weeks ago that PKI has a Robocoaster. I do not remember ever getting it cleard up as to wether or not it was a permanent fixture, or just there for the day or something. I havent been able to make it up in about a month or so, so could someone clear this up for me? DOES PKI HAVE A ROBOCOASTER? yeah jeff... sonny would be a much better coaster if it was coverd with trees and tunnels like daddy! Me, i just like the way it looks.... SOB is an amazing, beautiful structure, as are all coasters IMO.... especially the woodies! :cowboy:

who says that the lift hill would have to be over 420? We all know that pki's land is not flat. Couldnt they build a coaster, with a hill that goes down into a valley, perhaps underground... maybe a 250 ft lift, with a 450 ft drop? sure 200 feet underground may be a bit un-realistic, and i dont know if pki has that much of an elevation change... but its just a thought. For a coaster to reach over 120, it just has to drop over 420.... it doesnt have to go up 420... am i right? :cowboy:

HEY Delirium! if we go through with this off season thing at that thai resteruant, and you are able to make it... you should bring some of your tapes. I mean, we are not just pki enthusiasts are we ? we are COASTER enthusiasts, and i always enjoy watching footage of those wonderful coasters on the west coast that have not gotten the cance to ride! :cowboy:
