Coaster Battle #1: Adventure Express vs. Backlot Stunt Coaster
I take it you're a fan of professional wrestling. Being one myself I couldn't help but notice. Anyways, BLSC gets my vote. I constantly have to lean because of the jerkiness on AE. I also had to be put on muscle relaxants because I got my head lurched back thanks to AE's chain. I really don't know if I like BLSC or not except for the tunnel. That part I LOVE! That helix in the beginning is also FORCEFUL! Just wondering, will there be a Vortex vs. Diamondback battle soon?

I Think...I Just.. Fell in love
Obviously Son of Beast does care, he does not injure those who love him, but if he thinks you love another coaster he tears you apart He knows he's my #2 wooden coaster.... that is when The Beast's trims are off! If not, then he's #1.

I Think...I Just.. Fell in love
I have had MANY a night ride on The Beast and have never once seen a ghost. I'm not saying that there's no possibility The Beast isn't haunted. If you have the chance, night rides on the world's longest wooden roller coaster are NOT to be missed. It's a whole 'nother ride at night. In fact, I still think The Beast has a better night ride than Diamondback.

I Think...I Just.. Fell in love
Maverick then Diamondback for me. The Beast is still my favorite wooden coaster, though. That is when the trims are off! I also like Son of Beast and Red Racer when it comes to wooden coasters.

7/7 PTR :D
Nice PTR! Wish I could have been there. Looked like you all had some fun except for Angie on the Eiffel Tower. I guess she was just staring at Diamondback. HAHA!

Darlene's 500th
I don't know, but if I see her at the park either on or after that ride I'll give her a hug. She dwarfs my 43 rides on Diamondback. She and Single Rider Bob should be the definition of what it means to be a ride warrior.

Teen Injured on Raptor at Cedar Point
Wow! Raptor's one of my favorite rides. Glad the boy's okay and the ride is now open.

KI needs an Intamin!
I actually talked to an enthusiast who's ridden over 600 coasters, (He's also ridden both Griffon and SheiKra.) and he felt that hypers are by far better than dive machines. While I wouldn't mind riding a dive machine, I'd rather see something innovative. I wouldn't be too disappointed with another B & M, though.

KI needs an Intamin!
I can remember back when Diamondback was umored to be a dive machine. I'm glad we got a hyper out of it. I can't get enough of it!

KI needs an Intamin!
As much as I love Intamin coasters I also don't like them almost as much. As stated above they have so much downtime that I don't know if I'd want to see an Intamin coaster at Kings Island. As for being the perfect park, in my opinion that would be the one about 4 hours North of Kings Island in Sandusky. I LOVE Maverick! It's my favorite coaster. If B & M could come up with something likie it I'd jump for joy!

Cedar Point or Universal?
I've only been to Cedar Point. It is a GREAT park. In your situation, though, I'd go to Universal Studios because your family will be getting the CF Platinum Pass next year. There's also a few B & Ms down at Islands of Adventure that I wouldn't mind riding - Dueling Dragons and Incredible Hulk (One ride I MUST ride before I die.).

Indiana Beach's Tig'rr Gets Seatbelts
Make one for me if you go through with it in size XL. I'll pay you back. I need something other than just Diamondback and Maverick shirts.

That Show, Brainrush
I've watched an episode or two. Not a bad show. I think I could do some serious damage if I was on it. Unfortunately, I don't plan on going to Knott's Berry Farm any time soon....

Indiana Beach's Tig'rr Gets Seatbelts
Flyer, I can only see you getting madder at one thing in particular - parks putting trims on such trimless rides as Millennium Force and Blue Streak. *Tries not to think about it.*

Random trip to KI 7-3-2009
As always, it was nice hanging out with you, Angie. Also, thanks for telling me about your ride where you closed your eyes on Millennium Force. I did the same thing on Diamondback and that "blind" ride was awesome and felt like a completely different ride. I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who wants a different ride experience. I'm still waiting for my first "zen" ride (riding alone on a coaster). That Drop Tower night ride was also something to remember. Next time, I'll invite more people. I just didn't really have any phone numbers besides the ones that I knew were out of town.

Nice TR, Angie. It was fun hanging out with you and the rest of the group as always!

Best Seat on Vortex
I rode in row 4-1 and enjoyed it more than 5-1. I have yet to try 7-1 though.

Ashers and I (almost) rode everything in the park in one day!
Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun. Kinda sounds like what I did for my birthday, but mine was a BAD idea. Trying to get 24 rides in in six hours DRAINS you! Although I did get to ride some things I hadn't ridden in years, like Scrambler and Viking Fury. I also got 8 rides in on Diamondback (Fun as always!). Tell me if you guys want some company if you do this again. It sounds like some major fun!

WEAR A PROPER SHIRT!
Club Blood and Dead Awakening come to mind. I have seen women come in in the skirts and high heels for the waterpark. Only reason I can think for someone to do that is to "hook up". While you might have a case with the waterpark, Halloween Haunt is meant for mature audiences ONLY as evidenced by these two videos: .

Most OVERRATED major ride at Kings Island
I went with Vortex. The brake runs and the turns into them make the ride not worth it to me. I even rode in 5-1 and wasn't impressed. I don't know what it is, but I've been on seven Arrow coasters and I haven't been too impressed with any of them. Only Flight Deck and Magnum (depending on which seat is chosen) do anything for me really.

Your Single Best/Epic Coaster Ride
I have four rides that stand out: 4. My first night ride on Diamondback. I had read on here that you couldn't see the track in some sections. I didn't believe it. BOY, was I wrong! 3. My first ride on Maverick. It was the coaster that made me realize how much I enjoy being thrown from side-to-side while riding and is currently my favorite steel coaster. 2. My first night ride on The Beast. I was AMAZED at how little you could see, especially in the tunnels! 1. The ride that made me like coasters - my first ride on King Cobra. Ever since that first drop on that now defunct classic, I have loved coasters. Call me crazy, but after riding Vortex, Flight of Fear, Diamondback, Millennium Force, Top Thrill Dragster, Raptor, Magnum, and Maverick, it's still #5 on my list of favorite steel coasters. I just wish I could have one more ride on it...

SOB riders
Why can't all the people who don't like Son of Beast be mature enough and NOT mention that they'd like to see it as a large bon fire? Some people (including me) actually like the ride! I know that's a radical concept to some, really I do. I don't like some rides that others are passionately in love with (Vortex being the main one), but I don't state things on forums that might offend others. I'm not saying that everyone on here who doesn't like the ride is campaigning for its demise, but some people have made it EXPLICITLY clear that they would take pleasure in seeing the ride torn down. This can offend some people who enjoy the ride. PLEASE think about what you're saying BEFORE you post it. Tom, just saying...

Visiting Wednesday
I'm not too much of an authority on park admission, BB, or lockers in the park, so I'll refer you to KI's website for those matters. As pertains to flat rides - If you like to be thrilled then check out Delirium and Drop Tower. Classic flat rides can be found in Coney Mall if you're into those rides. In regards to popping the question - The patio area of Outer Hanks right up against the pond (especially after feeding the fish and/or geese) might just be the perfect place to ask her. Across the pond and up against it where the R/C boats used to be might also be a good place too. If she likes fireworks and you're planning on going on a day that closes at 10PM or later then anywhere that you can see the fireworks might be the place to ask her. Hope this helps! EDIT: P.S. - Let us know what she says!

Remember 2008
1. Diamondback Press Release Day 2. Being with my friend for his first ride on Son of Beast (He LOVED it!) 3. Seeing Robbie Knievel jump over 23 Coke Zero trucks

Will someone help me?
I'd wait until either Wenesday night or Thursday morning, check the forecast for Mason,Ohio, and go from there. The forecast could change dramatically from now until Wednesday or Thursday.
