  1. Oh and also, incidents have been reported when people asked the GM of Geauga on its last day as an amusement park, if the rumors about shutting down were true, and he said something like "you shouldn't believe a teenager's rant on the internet." I'm sorry but he obviously knew about it, so isn't that a thing called "lying"?
  2. ^Six Flags certainly wouldn't buy it.
  3. I searched through several pages and didn't really have the time to search through 25 pages of results. If someone finds something, please post it on here. A few questions: -Anyone know the truth of the shutdown? Some say it was Six Flags who destroyed it. CF said they wanted to make it into more of a family, picnic park, then didn't, so I don't know the truth in that. Others say CF thought it was taking away crowds from their beloved flagship, so the gradually removed things here and there until they finally pulled the plug. -Is the waterpark any good? From the website it doesn't even look as good as Boomerang Bay. -How many rides are still standing? I know the Big Dipper is, but what are the others? Carousel? -When were the park's best years to visit? I personally think that when it was Six Flags Worlds Of Adventure it looked pretty neat. -How long will Wildwater Kingdom last? I think I heard something about this being the last year. Watch them make the announcement after the season ends. -Is there ANY chance, WHATSOEVER, that the park will EVER open back up its amusement side? It's a great location for a park: circling a lake. A few thoughts: -Seeing this really makes me lose some respect for Cedar Fair. 121 years of history, gone. -It looked like a great park in its SFWoA, SFO, and even earlier Cedar Fair days. Not to mention the years when it was just Geauga Lake, no SF or CF. Those are just a few of the things I wonder. A great site is Geauga Lake: Today and Forever.
  4. That's a good idea. I should have done that. Oh well. Well here's my Voyage review in short. Awesome. 257/10.
  5. I was almost done with my Holiday World TR when I hit backspace to erase something and it went back to the page before. I hit forward and the post was blank.
  6. Do you think it will be similar at Six Flags Over Georgia on Sunday?
  7. Amy Poehler left the show REALLY? I'm sorry, I had to. Ha, I love that show. The Michael Phelps "REALLY!?!" was the best one. Anyway, I've never been to IOA, but hopefully when (or if) I go I hope Spidey is still there.

And honestly, who doesn't know who Snoopy is? He is the symbol of Cedar Point, and he's very popular.
  9. The only ones I've done are Trail of Terror, Urgent Scare, and The Worksite. I'm sorry, but the Worksite was awful. No chainsaws. Urgent Scare was good but all it was was goryness. Trail of Terror was perfect. Pitch black woods, crawling through a tunnel, surprises. It was my favorite.
  10. I went Thursday night after school from 4 to about 6:30. We marathonned DB and got 21 rides in!

I'm 13 and I voted for Snoopy. I used to watch Nick a lot, but looking back on it, none of their shows have meaning whatsoever. Spongebob is funny, but extremely pointless. Avatar has a decent storyline. Fairly Odd Parents and Jimmy Neutron are virtually the same show if you think about it. Peanuts actually have meaning, and I think that would have a better impact on kids.
  12. I agree 100 percent. I second that agreement. I third that agreement. If that is possible.
  13. I'm not under ten but close. When I was a kid, all I wanted to do was ride Top Cat Taxi Jam, or The Beastie. Or Boo-Boo's Baggage Claim.
  14. Show me a 13 year old that watches Dora and I will be seriously surprised. I'm sorry but that show is beyond cheesy. I haven't watched Spongebob in a few years, but that was actually pretty funny. I like Scooby though. If it was on, I'd watch it. I never check though.
  15. I think Diamondback looks better personally, all due to that awesome second hill packed with airtime (which Intimidator does not have).

Floorless coasters aren't great unless you're in the front. I think.
  17. Lucky...today was my first day of school.
  18. Diamondback's drop is 215, and goes 80 mph. This has a drop of 211 and goes 75-80 mph.
  19. Looks like a pretty neat coaster. The only thing I've got against it is that I think hypercoasters should have a straightforward camelback after the first drop.
  20. I call dibs on making up the name "Timmy", like Maggie or Millie. It was made in an above post in this topic on the 21st. If you find someone that used that name before that, tell me.

Can you make it so we can vote for more than one?
  22. That would be amazing. Plus you wouldn't get the rattling at the bottom of the hill. I wonder if they just asked B&M if they would go above 300, or if they already had the designs...
  23. I'm extremely excited to ride this, as I have said before. Judging by the videos I think I'd rather ride Diamondback, but the thing is that most B&M hypers have very similar layouts. The same can hardly be said for the two Intamin Gigas.
  24. Any sound that reminds me of Diamondback is a good sound.

I've been reading these forums since early 2008. But I didn't join until a few months after DB was announced. I didn't even start actually posting on here until a few weeks after Diamondback opened, so I had obviously never seen PKICentral.com
