  1. I agree, the only haunt that impressed me was Toy Factory, and I didn't see one roamer.
  2. I just got back. I was there yesterday about 5:30-close and today 10-4. Yeah I agree yesterday was very crowded, but we got a lot of rides in. I wasn't really impressed with Undertaker U. Happy Jack's Toy Factory was awesome and hilarious though! Today wasn't bad at all. I also did Club Blood, where the Vampire theme is a lot more apparent, and Eerie Estate, which didn't really live up to the great reviews.
  3. ^"take a day to see this." I don't know about anyone else but I could stay there for multiple days. I LOVE the Harry Potter series. I can't wait.
  4. Also true, but that would be at the fault of the parent, not the teen. I agree with mom, with any place keeping animals in captivity, that argument probably comes into place somewhere.
  5. While I don't buy my sister's argument, I also don't think that's a very valid comparison. Teens choose whether they are employed or not...
  6. My sister's trying to convince me that any place that uses animals for entertainment, aka SeaWorld, is cruel to animals. She said they told her that in their zoology class. My mom said that that stuff probably always come when animals are in captivity.
  7. How did you think Goliath compared to Diamondback and Nitro?
  8. This will include ALL of the parks, even if they're not exactly parks, I went to, in order for January 1st. NY-NY Hotel: It's a hotel with a coaster. A decent coaster, but apparently I'm the only one who thinks that. The replicas of NY buildings were neat. Adventuredome: Fun indoor park with a pink dome over you. Decent Arrow looper that I thought was a bit short. Pretty good flats though. Stratosphere Tower: Easily the park with the most intense, heart-pounding, terrifying, three best flat rides in the world. Take a look at this video. Yeah. Kings Island: Home park and still going strong! Easily one of my favorite parks. Diamondback is amazing, no doubt. Cedar Point: A great park. While a lot may disagree, I think it is slightly overrated, although I did ride Maverick for the first time this year, and let me say, that's gotta be one of the best rides out there. Coney Island: Small park, with a decent amount to do for it's size. Lacking in coasters, but makes up for it with their classic flats. Though, I do think calling a 40 foot Moser bouncer the Scream Machine is a bit extensive. Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom: My first Six Flags park, and it does not live up to the bad Six Flags stereotype. It was clean, ride operations were good, liked the layout, employees were friendly. Overall, I really like this park. RIP Chang! Kings Dominion: Well, this park is a slightly lesser version of Kings Island. I agree with Dave, they're missing a signature coaster, and I was underwhelmed by Dominator anywhere but the front. However, I was highly impressed with Volcano. My second favorite Intamin. Oh yeah the Congo section was neat. Busch Gardens Williamsburg: My favorite park. Beautifully landscaped, ride operations were amazing, rides were amazing, especially Griffon, my #1 steelie, and Alpengiest, my #1 invert, and Loch Ness Monster, my #1 Arrow Looper, and Big Bad Wolf, my #1 suspended coaster, and Apollo's Chariot, my...wait for it...#3 hyper. The food was fantastic, theming was extensive. Overall just a fantastic park. Holiday World: I'm still trying to decide my #2 park, Kings Island or Holiday World. Holiday World is just a great little park, with an amazing water park. Oh and their wooden coasters, simply put, amazing. Even without Voyage it would be amazing. Voyage though...my overall favorite coaster. Wow. I'm even wearing my Voyage shirt right now. Six Flags Over Georgia: You can easily tell they invest a bit more in this park than its sister in Louisville, but I was slightly disappointed. Ride operations left some to be desired, employee kindness was hit-and-miss. More fits the Six Flags stereotype I was talking about earlier. But all the rides were running, and boy were they great! I loved their woodies, and their 4 B&M's were fantastic. I felt that Goliath was not quite as good as Diamondback, but that's not saying much cause it's still amazing! My #4 steel coaster. Mind Bender was great and theming throughout the park was good. Stricker's Grove: Small park with some good rides. Tornado, Tip Top, but best of all...drum roll please...FLYING SCOOTERS!!!! Well that's it for me.
  9. Tell Bre, James, or Megan you're friends with me. Also, if you jump on as soon as it opens, it's highly likely the ride will be trimless.. Maggie's trims are rarely on first thing in the morning. Gotcha! Thanks Giga!
  10. Hey Angie, you think you'd be able to hook me up with a trimless Magnum ride this weekend? Haha
  11. ^*Waiting for the people who think Apollo's is highly overrated, somewhat including me*
  12. ...After you buy a ticket or pass. But then it's a sunk cost.
  13. I'm at 92. I'll probably reach 100 this Friday or next weekend cause I might be at CP this weekend.
  14. Yep, you can use a Gold Pass for Haunt.
  15. But does weight affect airtime? I thought it was affected by the number of G-forces, regardless of weight.
  16. Sorry if this is already here, but I didn't feel like searching through 278 pages (literally). I have heard that Diamondback has the record for most airtime on a coaster. You know, like how Voyage has 24.2 seconds of airtime, making it the woodie with the most. I've heard 26.5 seconds of weightlessness. I just need a straight answer, this doesn't need to be some long thread.
  17. Who said we would give up Drop Tower? KBF isn't giving up Supreme Scream.
  18. I'm hoping said "ride rotation program" only includes flat rides, and not coasters.
  19. That's $500...at least!
  20. More importantly, why would they remove Screamin' Swing?
  21. Don't you love random days at CP? They always seem to have the least lines.
  22. CCI is defunct...so that can't happen. I've only heard of one other RCCoA, Magnus Colossus, which looks awesome.
  23. I think it would be kinda interesting just to look at a cyclone coaster on a 200 foot scale. Think of how neat that would look.
  24. Wow. They should have built that.
  25. Not even close. Sum of All Thrills is basically a simulator attached to a Kuka Robotic arm. Guests are able to design their own experience. This new section of Innoventions is themed as a high tech lab with a heavy emphasis on math and physics. From what I've seen and been told, its actually a pretty neat experience. I'm planning to go check it out this evening or tomorrow hopefully. MouseSteps has some pictures posted now http://www.mousesteps.com/index.php?option...3&Itemid=65 Rip Ride Rockit is a fairly dull & lame coaster experience only highlighted by the great onboard audio & song selection :-) - Todd....eeek 194 pph at Epcot?! Ouch! Sorry if I worded that wrong. I mean in no way are the the same ride experience, it's just that they're both interactive thrill rides coming out at parks in the same area within a few months of each other. Didn't mean they were the same ride experience.
