  1. Are you kidding me? Are you all kidding me? Wow. And TopGun1993, that was about a week ago, and I only waited around till then cause one of the crew members was driving me home. I guess I shouldn't even of posted that. Nobody here even seems to care. Wow. And thank you Ryan for talking to me about it today. Wow KIC, just wow.
  2. CF like Disney? HA! Like that's ever going to happen. Kings Island does have employees that do the right thing and are nice and curteious, but they are hard to find in the park. Like Gabe, you are always nice to me, and everyone when ever I see you. Same with you Dare-To-Fly. The DB crew does mess around with me, but you can tell when they are doing it. Like today, Patrik stapled me. He was messing around with me. Me and him are good friends.
  3. You can tell when a ride-op is messing with you. They were not messing with me. Of course it was from one of the crew members who don't like me. I like most of their crew, but some of them can be real a** h**** sometimes.
  4. I'm going to make this short and sweet. Got to the park about 9:30. Diamondback was stuck on the MCBR. That got fixed. Patrik(DB crew member) had me help him when the GP came. Talked to him for a bit. Later in the day, went to Firehawk to meet up with James(Firehawk crew) and we chated for a bit along with Katie(from MSD) in the employee parking lot. Went to DB again and got a couple more rides in. Then as I was leaving, a DB crew member preceded to make a comment to me. They said, "About time you leave. All of us here at Diamondback are getting sick of seeing you." I just left the platform, and went to Guest Relations. Told them what happened. They didn't seem to care. Isn't that a suprise..I asked for the supervisor, she didn't seem to care ethier. So, I preceded to ask for the area supervisor. The supervisor told me that there was no need of getting her. I started getting really mad. She finally got her for me. I talked to them about it and guess what? They didn't seem to care. So whatever Kings Island. You wonder why the park is getting to like it is. It's cause of s*** like this!
  5. Theirs drops a longer distance. Our brakes stop the ride earlier than their ride. He is right. Our Drop Tower drops us 264 feet. Also, that is the tallest non-gyro drop ride in North America. Our Drop Tower is the tallest gyro drop ride in the world. What is the difference between a gyro drop and a non-gyro drop? The car on a gyro drop spins around while it is ascending. Notice how our Drop Tower makes one full 360 degree revolution on its way to the top.
  6. Um..I don't think 2 MPH is going to make a difference. And BTW, those are the average speeds. Diamondback has been clocked up to 84 MPH and as low as 76 MPH.. I don't know about Behemoth.
  7. DB doesn't just have magnetic brakes, It also has skid brakes. There are only magnetic brakes on the trim(I think) and the final brake run.
  8. why is that? Safety Reasons. Trains can slip through the brakes which would cause a big mess.
  9. Im sorry, I just was messin' around! I'm not saying he didn't, because he very well could of. Especally because the line for FD yesterday was short. Very short. Sorry Coaster Kid.
  10. Ahh. Im stupid and didn't think before I post. Sorry!

  12. I don't blame the ride, but it still "counts" since it did occur while on Flight Deck. Had it happened on any other ride, that ride could still be attributed no matter how non-intense. I wonder if the park billing it as a family ride affected her desicion to ride it, it's the only larger coaster with a rating of 4/5 on the 2009 park map now that Racer was upgraded to a 5. It has still killed more riders than all of the said rides combined, however. Spoiler: In case you didn't know, all of the listed rides have spotless records when it comes to fatalities. Injuries? Of course. But not deaths. Even SOB has yet to kill someone... Did she die on the ride? No. Was it the rides fault? No. She did not die ON the ride, true. The ride's fault? Yes and No. It killed her by doing what Flight Deck was designed to do- thrill. The problem was she has a heart condition and should not have been riding thrill rides. She did have the fatal heart attack on the ride. You should get checked by a doctor even if you think you are healthy- you might be shocked by the results. She did not do this, and that too can be blamed. It's a complex issue. Perhaps I should have never stated that as a "Fun Fact". And I just realized there is nothing fun about any death caused by anything. I'll edit that and just say "Fact". She had no heart condition before that, and how do you know she didn't go to the doctor? What if she just came from the doctor? Just because she had it on the ride, doesn't mean it is the rides fault.
  13. Wow. You really like polls..

  15. Fun Fact: Flight Deck has never killed anyone.
  16. Can you please type correctly, and not just put the letter "B"? It makes the post harder to read.
  17. It was my last ride of the day. And I coudn't sleep. I'm not a doctor, but I think that's puberty. Now, seriousaly, it could of been something else you rode that day.
  18. Ahh! You got to ride Prowler!! And im happy you got to spend some time with your husband on the road!
  19. They could easily, and I think they will. They give around 150,000 rides a week. It could happen pretty easily.
  20. Shut up Adam... Darlene is beating you though!
  21. Yeah, this one time when I went on it I shouted and it sounded like i was whispering! ZOMG! No way!
  22. skaterboy22101 replied to McSalsa's topic in KI Polls
Hey McPoll! Average coaster(son is so much better) Minor Pain Yes it is haunted
  23. Really? Wow, that was just down right disrespectful, and mean. No it isn't. He tells the truth. I have met several people that will bash, disrespect and badmouth any park that isn't their home park. It really annoys me to hear these narrow minded people call themselves enthusiasts. I understand that, it was how he said it.
