  1. I have taken videos with my cell phone with a wrist strap at Six Flags Great Adventure. But only on Runaway Mine Train, Rolling Thunder, and Skull Mountain. All of these being smaller coasters where I was sure not to drop my phone or anything. I don't think I would ever risk that again though. It was 2 years ago and bad influence from old friends.
  2. That's why I posted the link to the "Other Parks" section.
  3. http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?showforum=38 :D
  4. Wow Six Flags' policy is much more strict. I heard someone on another site say that they were banned from any Six Flags Park for a year because they had to stop the lift and come up and get their camera. On AE I don't think it is that much of a big deal but on something like Firehawk I would be more strict.
  5. ^I noticed that. That was a total burn. ....HAH! We rule!
  6. I have an old one somewhere in my house of my first ride on The Beastie which was also my first real coaster. I used it to put in a book I made in elementary school and I have no idea where it is. Other than that I don't have any on ride photos because we never buy them. Interesting photos everyone!
  7. ^^That would be amazing to see. All of that money to go towards "A Kid Again" would be very cool to see. Webcam still down but it is very windy here so I wouldn't doubt if it is weather related. Nevermind.
  8. I don't think you could let a bunch of creek water float into a splash down for a roller coaster. A bunch of things jump out to me as things that can go wrong there.
  9. ....If you are in your video editing class but on your laptop on KICentral!
  10. We used to live in Mason about 2 minutes from the park. There was a road we would take that has now been widened and just does not look anything like it did a couple years ago. It used to have a lot of little hills on it and every time we would visit the park we would have to take this road but my dad would go fast over them so it would get our stomachs and we would saying it was preparing us for the rides.
  11. Transfer track is all the way over on the left now. Looks like that roof is almost done too. I think we can also almost see the path Beast riders will take when walking up to the entrance.
  12. Woohoo! More confirmation on trains! Can't wait to see those new trains!
  13. ^I think you're right. There's more than just that one panel now. That's good that they are going to be putting a roof over it.
  14. Hahaha You guys are going pretty hard on this new guy.
  15. First thing I thought of was a parade. Not a huge addition but it is bringing something back. Maybe they just mean they are bringing back The Beast's foot prints on the midway.
  16. Probably cutting away at some midway so no one sticks there hands anywhere near the track.
  17. Welcome to KICentral. If you are around roller coasters a lot then you should be fine. They will ask you some questions like what do you think is most important while doing your job? Safety. They will give you some situations and ask you what you response would be. They asked me that if they were to call my past employer what trait they would say was best about me. For rides try to have the whole safety and responsible mind set. If you don't understand the question try to make up an answer that sounds good. Don't say "Well I don't know?" I don't really remember the questions besides those. Hope I helped.
  18. We tried to keep the SOB sign pretty up to date. When one or two of us would go on break we would check the line and move the arrow to the right time. And during the Haunt when we had one person out at greeter, I know I would always try to keep the time about correct. It was hard though to keep it accurate. Disney's system works very well plus you feel special when they give you one of the red cards to take through.
  19. ^Ohhhhhh that would be nice. Then the entrace side of the station would work well because if there isn't a single rider line over there then they don't need an attendent to tell people where to sit. I hope you are right.
  20. Yeah that sounds pretty good to me. At least they aren't forcefully dumping you off into a gift shop like a lot of parks. Plus I hate the build up at the photo booths and you can't get by like at SOB. I know which path I will be taking lots of times opening day.
  21. Why are there 2 paths for the exit? Is one going to be a ramp for wheel chairs and stuff and the other stairs?
  22. ^That's cool. I thought it was fun working with all of the little kids rather than adults and teens at SOB/FD.
  23. ^I think they call it East Pie now. I got sent to West Pie the day the hurricane pulled in. They called all of our rides and told us to shut it down and return paper work and "get out!". So exciting!
  24. I think that might be because dive machine track is huge. That's just what I think.
  25. Yeah look at Dominator at KD. That got a bright paint job and it looks pretty good.
