I found it interesting that in the press release the name Kentucky Kingdom did not come up. It was referenced as the amusement park and water park in Louisville...Could they possible be considering changing the name of the park to Bluegrass Boardwalk?

It was that upcharge jumpy thing that was there before the eruobobles which was there before the dino patio...What is on the new map looks like none of these things to me. It almost looks like a flying eagles ride. What do you guys think? looks like gyk beat me to it...

Has there been any mention of this by Kings Island? This thread was the first I had heard of it (thanks by the way, the DVR is set).

I don't think that I have ever had a bad meal at Dollywood. Let your nose be your guide. The smells are incredible.

The food at Dollywood is fantastic. Its about the same price or more than KI but way better quality and variety.

with a few exceptions, most of what Cedar Fair has done for KI has been way to the positive. and Snoopy is way better than most of the crap that is on Nick these days...

I have wondered why there is not a launched water coaster. If the use LIMs out on the course why not use them on the lift hill?

I thought that was funny the first time I saw it. My friend also pointed out the sellsnacksasaurus and his cousin the sellsoverpricedrinksasaurus.

Funniest line I have read here in a LONG time! (I wish I would have caught it!) My goodness...and she was still alive?! When I was on The Racer recently someone in the front seat of the train next to me had their cell phone out and apparently planning on doing a POV...from about half way up the hill the ride op just kept repeating "Please put your cell phone away....please put your cell phone away....please put your cell phone away...." this guy wasn't the brighest bulb, it took him awhile to realize they meant him and he did put it away. <I just noticed...this is my park opening post...1972! I witnessed something similar on Delirium last year. After repeated announcements over the load speaker to put the electronic device away they actually stopped the ride and the guy was still filming when the ride op approached him and took the camera away...amazing. I was shocked they let him continue the ride after that.

If its that bad then what ever they replace it with will be an improvement. Ninja is awful.

It looks like fun to me. I love Wildebeest and a similar ride with better capacity seems like a winner. Also lets not forget the dry side is getting something next year too, an extended season and Halloween event! I am just as excited about that. That alone certainly gives me a reason to make a second visit in the fall.

3 times. 2 day and 1 night ride.

rode back seat of green train the other day and it had a little bit of a virbartion. I would not call it rough. I think it probably is the wheels on that particualr train because I noticed the same thing last year on one train and then on another it was smooth as glass. It certainly did not take away from the ride, but was noticable.

My money is on a small themed flat (Thangsgiving maybe) AND a new waterslide(over by Wildebeest).

They would be more successful if they took the Disney approach and just set up in front of the fountain to take your picture with ET in the background. I actually had to wait in line to get my pic taken in The Magic Kingdom...Another thing that cracks me up is the fact I had a pic taken by the key hole people in 2009. I went online later to view the photo, which required me to provide them my email address. They have been emailing me every since trying to sell that same photo...I get an email about once evey couple months.
