I think we are all about to see that even if they did/do point the cam at DB while it starts initial testing that the number of enthusiasts that try to watch will crash the webcam. Its down for me

If its any consolation to those you couldn't be at their computer yesterday its that no one saw testing on the webcam because it was turned away from Diamondback.

Yeah that is pretty unflattering pic, especially without anything to give you a size comparison.

That interview was from last Wednesday (2/18) in case anyone is trying to get a better idea of what Don means when he says, "the next several days".

Here is an interview with Don Helbig over at an international coaster site www.coasterforce.com Not sure there is a lot of new knowledge learned in the interview but did you know Don has ridden The Racer 11,973 times? I wasn't very familiar with Don's past but wow that is pretty impressive!

I'm pretty sure you have not seen everything yet. I don't think there is a good picture yet becuase the trains are not finished yet. B&M delivers the trains as is but I believe it will be up to the parks Planning & Design team to ad any design to the trains.

^^That is just perspective, the track is exactly the same size throughout the ride.

Different style trains, improved design, could be your perspective, or maybe they are not finished yet.

That is interesting I didn't notice that but I think you are right. Here is a pic of Behemoth to support your idea.

If they are anything like the people I know who work out side then they probably watch the weather channel religiously.

Here is another view of Behemoth showing clearly where the spiral staircase attaches to the MCBR and where the stairs are left hanging unattached at one end. Photo Credit- Diamondback Construction Thread (Updated 3-19-09)
I'd ride it, I'd ride Millennium Force I heard it was -34 with wind chill this morning and that is standing still. Imagine going 90mph!- Diamondback Construction Thread (Updated 3-19-09)
In my opinion Weather Underground has the best mobile site too, its the only one I use.- Diamondback Construction Thread (Updated 3-19-09)

Probably not the pretzel loop, looks like that will be erected in the next few days. So maybe another part of manta or another unkown ride...who knows- Diamondback Construction Thread (Updated 3-19-09)
You can't see the webcam on the all mighty ipod? It works nicely in pocket internet explorer on my 2 year old winmo 5.0 phone, even better using skyfire.- Diamondback Construction Thread (Updated 3-19-09)
Did you just decide that all by yourself with no knowledge of the history and tradition of putting a pine tree at the highest point of a construction project?- Diamondback Construction Thread (Updated 3-19-09)
Frosty is going to be gone before we've decided on a name. I've been sky diving, cliff diving, and never been afraid of a coaster but I don't care what anyone says I think I'd be terrified to walk down from the top of that monster. Especially on a cold windy October night.- Diamondback Construction Thread (Updated 3-19-09)
Can't believe I completely forgot to watch it this morning. Thanks goodness for KICentral!- Diamondback Construction Thread (Updated 3-19-09)
Off topic indeed but here is a link to a thread about that over at pointbuzz.com There is quite a steady stream of supports heading to the hammer head we wish we could see what was going on back there- Diamondback Construction Thread (Updated 3-19-09)
In the time before they get to working on Hills 1 and 2, it looks like they are doing some new work on the hammerhead. I've already seen two different flatbeds today heading that way with gray supports.- Diamondback Construction Thread (Updated 3-19-09)
That is a bit of a stretch. I think it was Railrider that pointed out that they will probably but up the final support and the drop before they but on the crown. - Diamondback Construction Thread (Updated 3-19-09)
