Get better sources from a scientific webpage rather then a webpage that is extremley to the left or right of the smoking situation. Thats like going to a republican webpage to learn about John Kerry before the election.

Once a ride gets to a certain age it has to be it has to be taken down a level some to make it safer, and to reduce the load on the structure etc. Trust me the coasters at holdiay world will get them eventually to. The only ones that dont are the really old out and backs, and twisters that do not put as much stress onto the structure. I would love to talk with you off of here sometime about this stuff.

Employee's have faced disciplinary actions for posting things on this site. If an employee does know some of the stuff to come etc it is because they are trusted with it and they wont be spreading anything. But as others have said, majority of the bottem level employee's just here rumors just as rumors go around on this site rumors go around the park as to whats being built next year etc. If you hear something just remember rumors are always rumors until the press release.

The original concepts and ideas came from a team in L.A. Now they just had the idea and the renderings on paper of what they wanted. They then talked to diffrent companies concerning the electrical engineering, plumbing etc to work the engineering aspects around the design aspects. Im just saying where the concepts came from which of course they would then have to work with the companies premier etc to figure out what they could customize and what might already work to fit the general idea and concept.

The initial idea/concepts where created by paramount parks out of L.A. working for paramount parks out of the paramount pictures plaza. This is the same team that comes up with majority of the concepts that you guys see in the online concept polls. They oversaw the creation of the ride and worked with the engineering companies (premier etc) to have the ride match thier ideas towards the final product of the ride. Premier just made the track. I know one of the lead designers posts on here occasionally but im not sure if he really would want to identify himself or not.

Yea but its a Kings Island tradition. Its like a community ownership thing alot of people from around the cinncinati area have a special attachment to the park and have a sense of ownership. Beastie doesnt fit in with HB or Nick and its still there. Infact they changed it from teh HB theme to The Beastie. I just think its such a traditional name that it would be better off to leave it alone. Its like changing the name of Racer or Beast.

I dont like the idea of the name changing either. Kids always seem to comment on the name and its relationship with beast. It makes the ride feel alittle bigger than it is to them when its being compared with such a awesome ride. Its just been such a tradition to. Everyone that regularly visits the park knows it as Beastie as well as the kids.

Really glad you like to destroy other peoples property. If you are caught doing that you face being ejected from the park and possibly prosecution.

Mantis = rougher then chang. I think mantis is getting pretty rough but it might just need a big overhaul with maintence or something like that. I dont care for stand-ups much. When all the blood goes to your legs I think it really hurts but im also a bigger guy so that could be why. Im also always worried about being stuck on one with nothing but a bannana seat haha.

I think it would be cool if Action Zone was a scare area and had "stunt doubles" of some famous people that the stunts on the set mightve went horribly wrong.

I always think it would be cool if theyy took them upside down in the loop on SOB. But I dont know much about hooking the cameras up to know if that would even be possible.

Id hate to say it but I dont understand how PKI or a ton of other parks did not get the top 5 for friendliest employees when Cedar Point made it in there. Cedar Point even outranked All the disney parks except for Magic Kingdom...

The car by the warehouse is from the goodfella's or whichever gangster movie that had a display in paramount story. Not 100% sure which one it was.

Depends on the designer. Alot of them call the same style elements diffrent things.

Wildcat is actually a fun little ride. It doesnt look like much but it has alot of things only an older mouse/galaxy coaster like that can do. Might not be the most exciting but it was deffinetly fun when some of my friends and I rode it last time. Its alot more fun then what it looks like.

They just sell small handmade leather things. It isnt a big store like it used to be.

The bumper cars are AWESOME there! Seriously try them out really long ride time and they are alot quicker then youd expect! Youll be able to hit everything more then likley. The Texas Twister is awesome, X flight will have the biggest line so hit that early.

Yes you will more than likley fill out a application and have interviews and possibly be hired the SAME day. So dress for success and give the best interview ya can. Just out of curiosity what department are you thinking about applying for?
