There is an onride version. It actually moves pretty fast. But I agree that is flashy and would appear to be more like a Coney type ride.

Newport on the Levee needs a pier that goes towards the river and a boardwalk. That area is so picturesque. At one time there was talk about having a boardwalk east of Newport. If they really want it to be like the old version, it should have a bridge, water features, and a couple of clover leaf turns. Hopefully there will be lots of new landscaping. Since the space is pretty large I expect there will be plenty of curves and drive-bys of other cars on the track. Wouldn’t it be cool if there was a drive through a French village and perhaps past a water falls?

Next will we see recaR ehT return? Hope so! Wouldn’t it be wonderful to see a multi-use lighting package for The Racer? The coaster track with a lighting package similar to I-Street would be a beautiful addition to late night fireworks!

Interestingly, I remember last summer and fall a ton of people were going crazy speculating that the Coney Barbecue was the antique cars return into Tower Gardens. I don’t remember a freak out when it wasn’t, was there?

I can’t wait to see the Antique Cars used for Haunt and Winterfest! I think it’s a great move on KIs part. It’s entertainment for all ages!

Now if we can get a Lost River dark water-ride, my KI dream Park would be nearly completed! Put the river back into Rivertown!

Maybe this is a storyline to connect all of the parks into an adhesive and immersive storyline. Disney has been doing this for years. They came up with a “secret society” storyline quite a while ago. Watch this video it sounds an awful lot like the whole inter-park posters.

The backside of the building was a Coke stand and the front half was a gift shop. Since the exit was originally near Slaughterhouse, you walked back towards the building and the gift shop. I still have an “I rode The Beast” pin that I bought from that shop somewhere.

The Monster opened at Coney Island in 1969 and was transferred to KI in 1971.

This act should be booked for Haunt.

I’ve always said an Outback Steakhouse just outside of Soak City would be a fantastic addition.

Maybe across the street where the Kings Island Inn used to be? They would have to purchase the property but the electrical / plumbing infrastructure should still be there I would think. All they would need is a shuttle service.

They should have built the Barbecue near the Slaughterhouse.

Maybe they could license in Golden Corral.

My understanding was that at one time, during the Paramount years they were considering turning International street into a shopping district like City Walk. I would have liked that, but not sure how the off season times would be handled. I guess if they had an anchor theater it could have suceeded.

With Reservations only and with lobster for a surf and turf menu.... I could dig that, especially early evening and during Winterfest.
