Have fun on the refurb Test Track and new Fantasyland. Hopefully the Beauty and The Beast show and restaurant will be open by then.

All rides and attractions are open throughout the day. The only rides that do not run during Haunt is Planet Snoopy, that is where Nightmare Ally, Carnevil, and Holiday Horrors are located. The "scary stuff" is all throughout the park. I would not recommend taking the kids. Monsters come out at 7 p.m. I recommend the Howl O' Fest which is designed for kids it is every day during the Halloween season, except Fridays obviously. It is still regular admission I believe, except Friday nights. I know last year Wendy's or McD had discount tickets for KI during Halloween season. If you like the Halloween time it is well worth it. Even if the kids are afraid you can go during the day and see the park decorated up and participate in kid friendly halloween events.

I know it is an icon to Magic Kingdom, but that does not change my opinion of it.

I agree with you marlfox, not everything has to be 200-400 feet tall and reach speeds of 70-140 MPH. But please no pointless treehouses like the one at MK. One negative to Magic Kingdom.

Yeah in Richmond all last week and this week it was high 3.90's/gallon. It has started dropping dramatically. It will probably raise next weekend with EKU/UK graduation, Kentucky Derby, and Cinco de Mayo all next weekend.

I think it is going to be a great addition. Not to often does a park expand and have 2 coasters, one being new, two new rides, a new sit-down restaurant, a new show, and a new castle. I never realized there is not really an official thread for the new Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom, or at least I could not find one. Storyboard Circus is partially open now with half of the Flying Dumbos, “The Barnstormer, Featuring The Great Goofini," and “The Fantasyland Train Station,” now open. The next phase of Storyboard Circus will open in July with the second half of the Flying Dumbo rides and Casey Jr. Splash ‘n’ Soak Station. It also appears the two new castles, restaurants, and Under the Sea-The Journey of the Little Mermaid will open during the holidays season.
