will the haunts be open this weekend?

hmmm I was at the park for a weekend in July. The place was packed and it was still a short wait for The Racer. I'm just undecided on if 5 hours of open time is worth a 2 hour drive to the park on a friday. But on Satuday is the Notre Dame game, plus im supposed to go on a date sometime this weekend........ Decisions decision.

Are we talking 30 minute wait for The Racer type of day on saturday?

Is anyone gonig on these two days? I'm really wanting to go, im just afraid of how big the crowds will be on the 20th. Perhaps going on Friday would be better?

So what rides will be open during the day? I'm assuming everything? What about Sundays?

A co-worker went this last saturday, she said that they were there 11 hours and made it onto 6 rides. A couple of her hours were in boomerang bay. That scares me for Labor day weekend.

I really want to go next weekend. I'm guessing the crowds will be big. What day will have the smallest crowds? sat, sun or mon? Also what kind of wait times can we expect. Are these going to be days where its a 30 minute wait for The Racer?

I was thinking the exact same thing. People, we don't need a post everytime the crane rotates, lifts a piece up, or whatever. Like it was previously said, this is gonna happen quite a bit for the next few months. Chill out, and find something else to do! I'm just as excited for this ride as anyone, but I could care less each time the crane moves or track is placed. There is better things to do then watch the webcam all day! Obviously you aren't.

1. Get to Firehawk as fast as you can. Right after Firehawk get on FOF. Then make your way to Boomerang Bay. The seats go fast! Go on the Giant funnel water slide, its the best I've seen the flyer and Sling Shot for $5 i the morning. Also you don't have to ride when you buy the ticket, you can pay $5 in the morning then wait until the afternoon. The stunt track is fun, worht the ride. Also be sure to get a ride on the ride side of The Racers. That coaster is so much fun, tons of Airtime.

Agreed, I was just at CP a couple of weeks ago, was there for 3 days. I got in 5 rides on MF all in the back seat. There is definitely air time on those hills. I felt plenty of force on that banked turn as well.

Does The Beast run without trims at night time? I had the last train in July and it was flying. I rode the next morning and the speed wasn't near as fast. Why is that?
