  1. How was that possible to turn the ride around for such a short period of time? That seems like a lot of work to me. I definitely think we'll feel better when we're staring the changes in the face. They'll seem more sensible.
  2. That's exactly how I feel. I don't care what any of the names are, I just care about the time that I spend there with my friends and family that I will never get back. Those are true memories. I won't look back and say Drop Tower's name was so lame it prevented me from enjoying it. I'll say I wish I could ride Drop Tower with my friends again.
  3. A little rigid perhaps? I have to go for Firehawk and The Crypt. I can't wait to see what kind of changes they've made to TRTR.
  4. Beast FTW!
  5. A new coat of paint would do wonders for that poor ride. I would love to see the under station queue opened up again. I certainly would fit in with the new title.
  6. Could we possibly be talking about The Racer? Naw.... That really does suck. It seems like park management thinks the best method of expanding is tearing down the old.
  7. I think the names are only a fraction of it. For a like Tomb Raider it would depend on what they did with the theming for The Crypt. Anyway... Drop Zone Not really sure, don't know how The Crypt fits its theming. Face/Off Flight Deck isn't too bad. I just hope they add (or restore) some scenery.
  8. That Flight Deck logo is pretty sweet.
  9. ^It is sad but at the same time it's exciting. I truly think this change will be for the best. I'll be heading there this week to get mine processed, I'll bring my camera and get a few shots.
  10. ^That's really true. If anything they're restoring it. I loved it backwards, it was my first coaster in fact. But I've never been able to actually race. I look at it as a new experience. Every ending is a new beginning.
  11. I was impressed at the water dropping from the polar bear's mouth in the second picture. Don't know if anyone else caught that.
  12. I've always wanted to ride a Tumble Bug. I'm a bit of a fan of Traver. It's sad to see so few in existence nowadays.
  13. I will say that I prefer the Paramount Theater better, the whole facade is much more ascetically pleasing.
  14. That would have been nice. Along with that I'm not awfully fond of the typeface. Something more elegant or perhaps art deco would be more appropriate.
  15. Check out the signs posted today in the General category.
  16. Wow, definitely not as bad as I thought they would be. I really like the Crypt.
  17. Freakin' perfect.
  18. Which reminds me of this: Sorry, had to.
  19. I personally like the change. This is the way it was intended to be and now it can actually race. The retrack will be nice, I'm not too fond of the look of fresh wood on an old coaster but the ride is what really matters. I would like to see the old logos return as well. Might as well go all the way.
  20. Quite a few have died at the park, mostly things liek heart attacks and so on. The Boy in question died on the Effile Tower Elevator, he was on top of it and was drinking. My sister was the first on the scene to that and she said it was horrible to see. I knew all that, I was just wondering where moe2795 was when Johnny fell.
  21. Sweet, I'm glad they made this decision. Now I wonder if the Red Racer will open later in the season due to the (extensive?) modifications.
  22. Where in the park were you when it happened?
  23. I'm probably wrong but I thought it was later than that. I swear I can remember the water and I was born in 90.
