Hey, Flying Turns has been under construction longer than Hard Rock Park was open, so it's got that going for it, which is nice. Once one of the KICers goes over to Deutschland and rides the thing, we'll know something about it. (Wow, I can't believe I spelled that right the first time.)

One would assume that park management has a plan in place to prevent mass chaos. If not, mass chaos will reign. I truly hope crowd control is not a "last minute" thought in this case.

It's just to the left of the main gate, and directly out the door after you get your pass processed. I remember going in that entrance all the time when I was a young lad. Ahh, memories.

Those "actors" you speak of were actually park employees. I'm guessing it wouldn't be too hard to get them back, except if they've moved on.

I'm shooting for two. Once as soon as we get there, and then we're getting the heck out of Dodge. The plan is to come back and obtain a night ride, perhaps in the night row and end the day with DB.

They should have signs. They did last year at Cedar Point. You go through the normal gate and then follow the signs to wherever they're letting people through. I'm guessing it will be the formerly blocked path behind the Eiffel Tower. Don was on "In the Loop" this week and he made mention of a "Gold Pass Entrance." I would keep my eyes open for something like that. It makes sense to me, but time will ultimately tell.

It actually housed a concession stand with food and drinks. Back when the line for The Beast would fill all the queue houses, I remember it being open all the time. Mind you, this was when customer service actually meant something, and the park wasn't content to just plop some vending machines in and take the personal element out of the equation.

Thanks for the info about the restraints. It sounds like it may be a tight fit, but maybe not really that tight. We'll see on the 18th.

For those who have ridden Behemoth, how well would a 6'5" male with a 42" waist fit in the seats? I wouldn't think there would be a problem, but I don't want to have to take a "walk of shame" on opening day.

Good thing mine was processed in November of '08. ERT or not, plan on seeing me there whether my foot will allow it or I have to hobble around.

No, there are people in line for Vortex, and most every tree has leaves. Have those two large trees always been covering the path between BLSC and rivertown? For some reason, I don't remember those being there.

Not to mention that Don H. himself said that guests would have the option to exit to the midway or to the gift shop. Unless the right fork doesn't lead directly into the shop and there's a few feet before the shop entrance, I don't know what to think.

I was just looking at the webcam, and does anyone else think that there will be mass confusion while trying to enter/exit DB? The exit looks like it travels directly through the path for the entrance under the sign.

I couldn't have said it better myself. Lines schmines, mechanical problems schmechanical problems, I don't care. I will be riding Diamondback on opening day. However, if I witness anyone jumping in line in front of me and you are within a short distance of me, I suggest you plug your ears. I'm with you, as long as I get one ride in on opening day, I'll be fine.
