Those glowing red eyes classic scooby doo!! Just so you know thats were the phantom theater statues used to be they just boarded up that and put red eyes there for a creepy kooky scooby doo effect.(Glowing Red Eyes are a staple in the older classic scooby doo toons)

^ SoB is fun thats why I love it so much because its fun! Not to metion the ugh..Records I mean going upside down on SoB is insanely fun

If you can remember just one specific day that it actually had a line, does that not tell you something? And you also have to remember that SoB was only open for just over two weeks (it opened 5/20/06) and after the extended downtime to make the modifications everyone was excited to see if the changes worked. Yeah I remember that day because that was my last visit to the park I rode it in the moring when I got at the park it was my first coaster of the day it was closed up in the afternoon however. I honestly am sick of hearing ''SoB is gonna get torn down'' for crying out loud people NO ONE knows whats to come yet.

Wow. This is insane Iam going to Disney & Universal Spring 2007 this really makes me wanna re-think my whole trip.

Yes the did do some work rebuiliding the track but it was not in the area that the people got hurt in. Everytime I have been at Kings Island for the past 3 years Son of Beast has been a walk on coaster what long lines are you talking about? I went on June 6th and that coaster was packed! I really think this SoB issue has been blown outta place with all the news media making coasters out like death traps.

Being a die hard fan of a particular ride will not save it. Even though CF now owns the park, once a decision is made, they will stick to that decision. Paramount recieved the same kind of complaints for KC and the Eagles, and nothing changed. If CF wants to spend the money to fix it, then they will. Or they can see the history of the ride and what has already been done to improve it and decide that it is better to throw in the towel and use the land for something else. We all have to understand, sometimes the decisions about a particular ride are already made, and not by a person or group of people- but by the ride itself (referring to rides like The Bat and Drachen Fire). It is quite possible that there is nothing that can be done to fix SoB's issues. We can speculate that new trains will do it, or more retracking, different wheels etc. But what happens if these things don't work? It is just more time and money spent on a useless task. Nah SoB will be rebuilt if they tear it down that would be a stupid mistake of course the flying eagles are gone.. but that was paramount. I foresee SoB getting rebuilt its a popular attraction long lines always crowed besides didnt they just work on SoB not to long a go.

I for one LOVE Son of Beast and my visits to the park wouldnt be the same without it I think Son will re-open in the spring of next year CF wouldnt want those die hard KI fans like my self roaring with complaints about SoB being torn down.

Yeah I buy Scooby-Doo pins in the Scooby Doo store I also buy anything Beast like my Son of Beast shot glass.

What makes me upset is they have FearFest for the Halloween Junkies what about us Christmas junkies? I think when they brought back WinterFest they killed it from the start because the prices.

^ Huh ? anyway I just got word that the simpsons are coming to Universal and if the attraction is a hit they will add it to Universal Studios Hollywood the following year an annoucment will come at the end of this month.

Well Said...You have to want something like WinterFest to fail for it to fail.

I Remember when PT opened I was upset that my beloved smurfs were gone (I grew up in the 80's after all) while I liked PT I was overly thrilled that Scooby was coming but was sad to see PT go then I kept thinking about those little kids that were scared to death to even walk into PT which I seen happen often now I see kids overly excited to to just walk in to the haunted castle and help Scooby Doo and the Mystery Inc Gang. Phantom Theater is missed but as much as I hate to say it I love the new scooby doo attraction more.

I only buy merch at the park I never buy food.

I went on Monday 7/24/06 and I seen a LOT of people smoking in NU and all over the park too many to count.

Reminds of what paramount parks could have gotten out of an Addams Family style attraction.This thing looks awsome I was looking at some concept art earlier today I'm planning on riding that thing come summer ''07'.

Okay I went to KI yesterday 7/24 and while in NU I was wondering what happened to Squidwards house on the Spongebob Squarepants:Bikini Bottom Bash attraction I read on these forums that kids were to enter Spongebobs Pineapple house and exit through squidwards house but as I noticed it was no where to be found any one know what happened to squidwards house? Yesterday was my first vist to PKI in 2 months!

I went yesterday and took my dad & my 5 year old nephew so he could enjoy BB and Nick Universe that was the worst trip ever I think CF needs to stop Bring a Friend Free Day or do it another way I mean yesterday was awful I couldnt even shop in the stores because they were packed.

I wish I would have known CF really needs to get rid of BFFD.

So I read around the web verious Universal sites and newspapers...I am starting to think this rumor may be true ... this ride will be a tie-in with the 400th epsiode and the movie.

The Son has been dead for a long time, it just didn't know it yet. Far from it everytime I ride it I get banged up but still it wakes me up in the mornings when I ride it

Yeah I read USJ is getting a coaster but the two american parks may be getting the simpsons.
