  1. All hail King Don!
  2. They are lifting up one of the other pieces now!
  3. Definitely apply first. The job fair is a great place to interview, because they are doing so many interviews that day, they aren't as intense as a non-job fair interview. If anyone wants some pointers, feel free to PM me, and I'll try to get back to you. Keep in mind, you may get turned down for your first choice, but I would have a back up ready, just in case.
  4. Nope @sixohdieselrage
  5. Hounddogs in Columbus is really good.
  6. I wouldn't be surprised if they were finished by the end of the month.
  7. I'm thinking the rain is actually just washing it off, you can see droplets of water running down the camera.
  8. The food is pretty good, but I typically go up there on $1 beer night as they serve you beers, don't have to get up, short walk to the bathroom, plus the view is good.
  9. Part of the reason it made the drop so awesome, it's coming over the top of the hill with extra speed.
  10. And less than 1% of people that go to the park care about that extra 13 feet. You won't notice it on the ride. Would you rather have 300 with a 287 drop, or 287 with a 300 drop?
  11. The chairs have been mostly removed.
  12. I was a KIU guy for a long time before KIC.
  13. I'm kinda curious if they might get in trouble for the name, because Keystone in Cincinnati owns Mac Shack.
  14. You can't see it from the photo, but that support is taller than the second hill.
  15. Can't tell if it's another crane or the support. I'll be going by there in about an hour or so and will report back if no one else beats me to it.
  16. Yes. It was a great experience, I met some of my best friends working there (even now, 15 years later I'm in touch with a lot of them). The work can get boring/repetitive from time to time, but there are opportunities to try new things. I would recommend Rides or Park Services.
  17. But why?
  18. Might be a travel day for the guys to get back to the job site.
  19. You can definitely touch the top of the tunnel on The Beast, but I am sure that this has been designed so you can't hit your hands on it.
  20. I would put it at 90% that it's a haunt next year, it's a big building and they could potentially even go out into "the woods" from there.
  21. That looks cool, but doesn't look particularly exciting and probably a capacity nightmare.
  22. No they are not down, they are up on the top of the Eiffel Tower.
  23. It's because they aren't really updating the webcams. They are lying, like they lied about Firehawk, Dinosaurs Alive, and probably also lied about Vortex as well. The cams won't be back up until they are done with the lift hill.
  24. Drove by for lunch, didn't see anything past what was done yesterday.
  25. Drop Tower has always been a tight fit for me, due to the size of my chest. Even when I was around 200 lbs, it was a tight fit.
