I agree with you Flightoffear. I don't think the announcement will be any later than the end of next week. Unless something goes wrong i.e. they are missing something for the announcement..... idk just a guess.

Well Firehawk, not to make you any more mad than you already are but just cuz you have friends that "used" to work in the park doesn't mean they know anymore than the people on this site that have worked or are working at the park right now. Unless they are are currently working for the Kings Island or Cedar Fair where most of the X-flight stuff is going on, there is a good chance they are not the best source of information.

So if the IJST cars were on a trailer to go somewhere to get new bodies, wouldn't there have been other vehicles/trucks carrying the other trains. Can anyone say if they've seen the other trains moving south on I-71?

Anything is possible, a hotel somewhere around Six Flags Marine World let the new name Six Flags Discovery Kingdom slip early. And look at the new coaster at Knott's the company building the ride let the pic of the ride layout before Knott's announced the new ride. I mean don't get me wrong, I know King's Island is a big company and they don't want to make mistakes like that but there is always a chance that they accidently post the pics before they mean to, even if it just for 1 minute or 2.

I think it's possible but we still have a week or two until the "announcement". We should keep watching the construction photo page to see if they slip up and accidently put the first construction pics up before the announcement.

Well i havent figured out how to guote yet but today i got a postcard from king's island and it had a new logo with the Cedar Fair flag over the "i" on Kings. That better now Interpreter.

I received mine in the mail today too but you beat me to the post snizz. Also i haven't received and rehire info. I emailed Kings Island and they told me they had lost my address. Apparently not if they sent me the party invite.

Hey a quick update for everyone. I emailed the pki jobs office and they told me that they had already sent out the rehire packets. They also told me to go ahead and fill out an online application and then my department would contact me about the rest. So if you havent gotten your rehire stuff yet i would maybe wait another day or two then fill out another application. Hope that helps. -Steve
