Say what you will about another bar, but IS doesn’t have any alcoholic options as far as I know. So it makes sense. Call me crazy, but a cold beer and Fountain ERT are a great way to spend an evening. This was forever ago, but I’ll always share again as it was my best solo trip to date. Great memories. That said, since it is The French Corner, I hope their adult beverage options are thematically appropriate. Wine would be the obvious choice. Which would be nice. I know the Food and Wine festival wasn’t totally well received, but I loved having a glass of wine in Tower Gardens. And selfishly, I’d love to have that option in the future because Mrs. Beastfan fan wasn’t able to partake in the wine this summer in prep for Baby Beastfan’s arrival this Haunt season. I know the increased alcohol sales bother a lot of people, but it only serves to drive revenue and as an enthusiast I can’t complain about that. I just hope that money is invested back into the park and not into the golden parachute factory this merger has created. Cheers, everyone.

Man. I’m always shocked at old Swan Lake pictures. They really laid waste to that area of the park for Diamondback.

Family Thrill/Dark Ride Coaster for me. Which is wild because I’ve been all about an update to BBoBH for years. But the dated ride concept and technology coupled with an even further potential reduction in capacity seems to be a massive step backward. If it’s difficult to keep up with BBoBH, how well would this Peanuts dark ride honestly be maintained?

Looks like a really solid addition. Nice to see Premier getting some attention in the chain. Makes me excited to see what could occupy The Vortex spot.

Kinda sad that our thematic expectations are so low that we’re wishing for light bulbs. Haha. I, too, am still hoping to see this project through all the way. I really love what they’ve done for the ride. So very close. Get those tunnels lit and those masks back up! Wouldn’t hate the creaky wood sound effects back on the first lift hill either. Man, I love Adventure Express.

Sounds like from a name/theming perspective they could be shifting focus away from the generic Soak City. I’d dig it. Looks like a great addition!

I never thought I would live in a universe where (should this be true and come to fruition) I would actually miss Boo Blasters. It would also be weird to not have a “spooky” dark ride in the park. Granted, that was the case for a long time. But a park without a Haunted House just seems like it’s missing something! Have any of these survey concepts ever come to reality 1:1? I don’t think so… but maybe.

Of all of the potential concepts for that space, this is unfortunately the most realistic. The shooting aspect is just so dated and frustrating.

Oh, yeah! A classic. Circus Horrors 3D was in the Festhaus on the (now) Panda Express side. It eventually made its way to the old Enchanted Theater/Peanuts meet and greet space before being retired. You can see a bit of it here at 6:00 minute mark: It was always one of my favorites since my first FF visit. Good times. I miss the vibe of old Fear Fest. Or maybe it’s the same and I’m just old now.

I betcha that Dick Kinzel guy is behind all this. Never trusted him or those tiny cups.

Definitely to be taken with a huge grain of salt. But I came across this on Reddit. No real way to validate these claims, but the concept sounds really incredible. If true, I’m happy to see the “shooting” aspect of the current ride system not necessarily carried over. Wish this would’ve happened. Hopeful for something new in that space in the semi-near future, but with the merger, I’d bet we’re a few years off still. Would be curious to see if anyone has heard anything about this.

As a marketing dude, I’m curious to see what they do (if anything) as far rebranding efforts. I’m not a huge fan of the current CF branding and I could take or leave Six Flags as a whole. But this could be a fun opportunity for a logo/branding refresh. Specifically while keeping each park’s individuality highlighted a bit. No name changes, though. Six Flags Ohio has a now troubled history and wouldn’t want to see KI change too much. But I can see it now… ”Six Flags Over It”

Anybody else still actively collecting KI pins? I like to pick up one or two a visit when I can. I’m hoping they make more. Here’s my collection so far: Started way back in 2018 from what I remember. Also big into the Disney Pin Trading/Collecting. What KI pins would you like to see?
