Even if it survived Paramount, I’m not confident it would’ve lasted through the beginning of the Cedar Fair era. If the ride survived Kinzel, I think it could still be around. But I’d like to visit a Kings Island where the ride wasn’t removed, and instead invested into. There are plenty of seasonal parks with iconic, historical dark rides that have become classics and it seems unfair that Phantom got the axe when it did. 20+ years later and it’s still being talked about.

I mean, I’d say we understand that there isn’t room up there, but in looking at some of the comments on Instagram this morning it looks like a lot of people thought it was legit. It’s not a wildly crazy concept given our proximity to opening day and the fact that the real ET offers dining… I’m all about a good joke, some have said I am one. But kind of a weird one that might mislead followers.

You know you’re truly in the Six Flags era when the park starts teasing about positive, added experiences for guests.

Nothing the parking garage coaster across the way hasn’t done already.

But where will they host Spirit Song?

Super hyped for Food and Wine returning. Had a great time last year and looking forward to enjoying it again. Hopefully these events only get better with time.

Brewhouse. A/C is always cranking in those bathrooms. Very clean and out of the way. Quiet too. That’s where my wife used to puke when she was pregnant.

I firmly believe the men’s restrooms on International Street could benefit from not only one, but two loop-dee-loops. And a bar.

Just bring the ride back. Done the right way.

Where am I going to be able to write my Dick Kinzel Biopic screenplay if I have to pay for overpriced coffee?

It tells the auidence the somebody within the company knows how to use MS Paint. That’s about it.

+ 1 for individualized park logos. The chain as a whole could use a big brand refresh. The current fonts, colors, etc. are tired. A new look would be good post merger. Something less corporate-y and plastic-y.

AZ will receive a massive overhaul and be rethemed to Gotham City/DC.
