Do you get to choose or is it like you pull a seat out of a hat? I could be wrong though I just read that it says "drafting". Not sure if that means you get to choose in order or you will draw a seat.

My favorite time to ride Slingshot is during Haunt right before the park closes. With all the fog and how empty the park looks it makes it more thrilling.

IT would just be odd for them to have the 6 month payment plan available now and you not be able to use it. 6 months from now will be October.

I'm using the payment plan and I can use my pass while I'm paying for it. It might have changed though. Your best bet is to contact the park.
