I don't think it's important I just like to see the coaster being built...

Besides the cold temps tomorrow looks like it should be a good rest of the week weather wise to hopefully get the turnaround finished before Christmas.

Another crane seems to finally be taking apart the crane that was in front of the lift hill for a while. Edit: A pic for reference

I think we may have gotten our answer about why the support wasn't put together on Friday. Looks like they got an extra boom piece put on the end of the third crane to make it taller. Seems like they might be putting up the support now as well.

Looks like they are putting up some supports for the speed hill in the meantime.

Yeah I just noticed it a few minutes ago and don't remember seeing it this morning.

It never really occurred to me how close Orion's turnaround gets to The Beast until I noticed (if I am assuming correctly) The Beast's covered track right there. Hopefully the small amount of trees between the two will be able to keep The Beast feeling secluded. Also, it looks they have the next support assembled and ready to go up whether that be today or tomorrow.

Colossos at Kings Island (?)
Gravity Group could also probably make a ride similar to an Intamin pre-fab.

Vortex Removal Updates
I believe the picture @freaks76 is talking about is this which I saw on reddit (u/mateo8165) and It was also on the Kings Island Season Pass Holders Facebook group.

Vortex Removal Updates
Also 2023 would keep up with the new coaster every 3 years trend KI has been on since Banshee in 2014.

Happy Friday everyone! Looks like plenty of work being done putting up the next support and maybe some more removal of wood from under the lift.

Favorite Park that isn't Kings Island?
I hear very often from coaster enthusiasts that King's Island is one of the best parks in the U.S. because it is such a well rounded park in terms of atmosphere, staff, coasters, etc. I would definitely agree with people here that when I went to HersheyPark it felt very similar to KI with its overall nice atmosphere, great lineup of coasters, and good staff. I will say if roller coasters are the main focus (which they usually are for me ) then it is definitely hard to beat Cedar Point because there lineup is like none other. Also, I'm sure not many people have been there, but if you ever get a chance to go to Japan and you like roller coasters you HAVE to go to Fuji Q Highland. The four main coasters they have there are all amazing.

Does it seem weird to anyone else that they still have that large crane just sitting in front of the lift hill still? I feel like if they are going to use it again they would move it for the turnaround since it is 202' or are they just waiting to dismantle it until they wrap back around?

The Beast 40th Anniversary
I follow a few of the Youtubers who are coaster enthusiasts and ElToroRyan posted this video recently about The Beast. I thought people would be interested in seeing what he had to say about it.

Don't know when they started doing it, but it looks like the wood platform under the lift is being removed.

I305 is definitely lower to the ground, but both Fury and I305 are speed coasters that stay relatively low to the ground unlike most B&M hypers which have big hills and focus on floater artime.

I mean you have to get that speed some how...

It looks like possibly the last piece of Artemis is gone now. Also, I just noticed that these supports are still here so they probably need to get those off before they can move the big cranes to the area over to right.

I actually think those arrived around noon. They are pretty massive

It is kind of hard to see right now, but it looks like Cleo is placing the next piece(s) of the first hill.

Here is what it looked like this morning at 8am. There definitely are two pieces ready to go right next to it, just curious if they are already bolted together or will go in one by one.
