Is there anything painted and ready to be installed at CSF? I don't think there is, so I don't think anything will be installed soon that is legit coaster pieces.

Those are for the storage track area. Transfer track area would be just to the right of this.

It's capped rebar (example below). There's some more just to the left of your circle. Can't say concrete has been poured yet, but there's definitely some rebar in the ground.

Can we get a few more pics, zoomed out a bit?

Depends on how far you look out for records to break. Take Steel Curtain for example. They were pumped with their 3 records...tallest inversion in the world! Most number of loops!...in North America. Tallest coaster!...in Pennsylvania. CF might be doing something similar here...tallest/biggest coaster!...in 87 of the 88 counties in Ohio.

How is one able to see the plans that are being bid on? Is that a public thing? Anything more you can share?

I took another look at the original leaked image. I have a theory that anything in red is new or upcoming work. Lots of red near the new queue line and FOF for obvious reasons, and earlier in this thread, someone speculated that the theater was going to reopen, which could explain the red in that area. Which brings me to the red lines near the new antique cars. I haven't seen any of this new attraction in person, but is there a new wall or fence or something in front of nearly the entire front of that attraction? Or any signs of upcoming construction there?

I think he was talking about the original leaked image, the one by the anonymous account and was removed soon after. That particular image hasn't shown up in any of the official blueprints from the city. I'm on mobile right now and can't share that image, but I posted it in one of my recent posts in this thread.

Looks like they're starting in the storage track area. That transformer (blue circle below) remains and is in the new plans. Giga's getting built!

For the names, only Orion and Polaris are legitimate at this point. "Shooting Star" is just a rumor or wish that started in this thread, I believe. Not saying it's a bad name, it just doesn't have any legitimacy as of right now. As of today, the only recent trademarks that Cedar Fair has requested are Orion and Polaris, both filed on 4/30/19. There's a fee of $3,300 to file each request, and that's not counting any attorney fees that would not show on these documents, so don't think CF is just going to request a whole bunch of names with little chance of using them. $3,300 isn't a huge cost, but certainly a considerable one to start making up names that may never be used.

Might be for The Racer too and other surrounding rides.

Could it be a new off-season maintenance shed for AE? Looks like AE's transfer track (where I believe they add and remove trains, yellow below) is awfully close to this new concrete pad (estimated red below).

Decoding 2020
Looks similar to one of these fabric-lined structures. On the closest-left of that concrete pad, there are some electric runs coming out of the ground, which tells me this is more than just a simple storage structure. https://alaskastructures.com/foundation-options-fabric-buildings/

Best guess I have is going to the local city/county office where the park is and requesting building permits/blueprints for whatever project you're interested in. Still no gaurentee, and I don't know how many years back they retain that information, but that's how we got the KI blueprints.

Decoding 2020
I searched for blueprints for Fury and Levi, and only found site plans for Fury, not enough to get a height from. We're taking the park at their word that the heights are legit.
-
Decoding 2020
It depends on where you measure it from, which is ultimately up to KI. The lift crest is 286' above the ground directly below it, and 296' above the ground below the station, and just for kicks, like 440' above Little Miami River. We don't know where they're going to call 'zero' at. I did recently change my estimate because I noticed a note on the original blueprints that call 740'=0', which happens to be the same height below the station, so that's why I changed my estimate to 296'. We know the crest elevation is 1035.9', but where they consider ground height to be is up to the park and marketing team.

Any Fury or Levi operators on here? That'll be the closest comparison. Same train size/layout, same 'pressure' to get the trains out quickly.

Great job with this. This is the closest one I've seen to correctly hitting the banking transitions. Others have been too snappy or too drawn out. Seeing the other rides near by is neat too to see the perspective of things.

Just for sheets 'n giggles, I wanted to see what the distances were. The best overhead blueprint of the largest area I could find was actually the leaked blueprint from weeks ago (the recent blueprints do not show Vortex), and even this doesn't give us the full picture, but I think it's good enough. Dropping in the leaked blueprint and scaling the new coaster to now-known sizes gives the below distances. Note that this is first straight section and brake section on Beast (the station and both lifts are closer, but just out of the picture). The closest Beast gets to the new coaster (track-to-track) is about 121' as I previously stated, but The Racer is closer at about 97'. The Beast's straight section is ~750' from both The Vortex lift and WindSeeker's tower.

May be marketed as the first hyper-giga coaster. To the GP, that'll sound way cooler than just either "hyper" or "giga".

Decoding 2020
Fair question. Same question ran thru my mind soon after first seeing the prints. At all points marked 'bottom', there is indication of electrical work going on, for something called "low gate prox switch". These are prox switches on fence gates surrounding all the low points of the ride (telling us the track will be fairly close to the bottom, close enough that each low point has its own surrounding fenced-off area). This point didn't support my argument, but the next one does. At all points marked 'top', there is indication of electrical work going on, for something called "DMX lighting". These are ground-based lights that'll be used to shine upwards and highlight the upper portions of track and supports. They're ground-based because if a light ever goes out, or needs to be calibrated, or serviced in any way, KI would not want to go up 100'+ just to fix a light, so these will be ground-based. And yet, all 'top' portions of track are marked despite not having any electrical work up there. Also, these drawings are made in an AutoCAD software. These programs allow the drafter to turn on and off certain 'layers'. One layer may be electrical, one layer plumbing, one layer concrete work, etc. I think what we're seeing here is the primary layer (layout, basic info, footings) and the electrical layer. There's some things in these recent blueprints that may be supplemental info and not necessarily needed for the electrical work.
-
Decoding 2020
Well, we don't have complete blueprints yet. The recent batch was mostly electrical prints, which just so happen to show an overhead view of the layout. It gave us a lot of information, but there's still consider amount of info still missing.

That's what I was thinking! But I figured I'd find a website for them, but after I couldn't, I second guessed myself.

Another thing I found interesting... Looks like there will be a water fountain in the station on the exit side, in front of the operator booth.
