Skybridge: Yes or No
There used to be a skybridge for White Water Canyon when the queue went through the area that's now taken up by Mystic Timbers. My guess is that when they rerouted the queue back in 2016, they probably didn't have the budget to build a new skybridge and opted for a train crossing instead.

Kings Island to add “family thrill” attraction in 2026
I remember Six Flags used to do their announcements later than Cedar Fair, so it's possible they might not announce anything until after national roller coaster day. (August 16th)

Time to Strike: Why Holiday World and Kentucky Kingdom Should Seize This Moment
I'm just going to be blunt. It would be a true embarrassment for Kings Island if they had to delay the 2026 family thrill attraction while Kentucky Kingdom opens their Vekoma SFC no problem. I could see that scenario swaying a lot of families in the KY/IN demographic to buy season passes for Kentucky Kingdom instead if Herschend does their marketing right.

Siren's Curse Set to Open June 28
Apparently they needed to evac it. Looks like it's already back up and running.

Is Kings Island Becoming a Mid-tier Park?
Yes, I do agree that Kings Island is still in a relatively higher standing in the Six.Flags chain. In my opinion, however, the quality has still gone down from where it was under Cedar Fair.

Siren's Curse Set to Open June 28
This was exactly why I was advocating for a Vekoma Tilt coaster for The Vortex plot prior to the announcement of Siren's Curse. Although, I am thinking Siren's Curse is going to still be a somewhat significant draw for Cedar Point in the near future, due to the attention Gravity Maxx recieved from the general public online. Siren's Curse will be the only coaster of its type on this side of the planet (until Circuit Breaker opens), so until more tilt coasters open up, I think Siren's Curse is going to draw a lot of attention from people who want to get that Gravity Maxx experience here in North America.

Something I always wished they did to Orion..…
Nope. Unfortunately, Kings Island isn't Six Flags Over Texas

Kings Island General Discussion 2025
Nope, that's already been disproven. Apparently it was a stack of sheet metal scaffolding.

Holiday World has started teasing "something" for 2027
Probably, but I don't see this being another $25+ million investment like how Thunderbird was considering how long it took Holiday World to see the return on investment for that.

Holiday World has started teasing "something" for 2027
One of the blue flip flops has the year 2027 on it.

Holiday World has started teasing "something" for 2027
This was spotted on the fence surrounding the former Raging Rapids attraction in the 4th of July section of the park. It's quite odd to see the park tease something that's still two years out, so perhaps it's going to be something major? What do you all think? (Credit to Hoosier2006 on Reddit for the image)

Why Thunderbird Soars Over Rapterra
I have not ridden Rapterra yet, but I have ridden the other B&M wing coasters in North America and I do think Thunderbird is the best of the four.

Cedar Point tips 2025
I'm going to be honest, I think Saturday is going to be an especially rough day for crowds unless there's rain or storms in the forecast. If you can, try to park at the water park lot and enter through the Magnum gate. From there, you should go straight to Frontiertown and ride Maverick then Steel Vengeance as those rides don't have the best capacity and most people will want to start their visit at the front of the park. From there, go counter-clockwise throughout the park (CCMR, Millie, Iron Dragon, TT2, Valravn, Wild Mouse, GateKeeper, Raptor, Corkscrew, Magnum, Gemini). I would end the day by getting rerides on Steel Vengeance and maybe Maverick if you have the time. Again, I think Saturday is going to be a bad day for crowds, and I'm not sure if you're going to be able to do all of that in a single day, especially since you aren't going to be using Fast Lane. For Sunday, I would prioritize riding whatever you didn't get to ride Saturday. Also, I would hit up TT2 and Millie first on the second day as those rides have been notorious this season for maintenance issues, so it's best to rides those early before they go down.

Kings Island General Discussion 2025
While we're on that topic, a Kentucky Kingdom gold pass is currently $115 and includes a free souvenir cup that gets you free drinks for the entire season. In my opinion, that's the best deal of the three.

Kentucky Kingdom
Credit to RrevinEvann on Reddit for this image This shows how Vekoma's 453m version of their SFC (Dragonflier) fits in the area cleared out by the front of the park. It's about a near-perfect fit.

Kentucky Kingdom
I assume it's going in the front area since that's where the teasers are.

Kentucky Kingdom
That's great! The newer SFC models seem to be a huge improvement over the older ones like Woodstock's Air Rail.

TT2 at Cedar Point to be ready for opening day 2025
If it was a minor crack, then welding seemed to have fixed it. Fury needed an entire new support, hence why that was closed longer.

TT2 at Cedar Point to be ready for opening day 2025
I'm not sure of the exact reason, but apparently they closed the TT2 midway last night and there were maintenance workers seen inspecting the spike.

Kentucky Kingdom
They must have painted that teaser recently because I was there last weekend and the Fearfall fence was blank.

Kentucky Kingdom
A lot of wooden fencing around the front area of the park. Here is what it currently looks like near the former Cyclos and Prof. John's Flying Machines area.
