Son of Beast station condemned
You can see remnants of Wolf Pack with the removal of some of the rails and air gates, as well as wooden platforms placed above some of the track sections to be used as bridges for the haunt maze.

Fun Spot Atlanta ArieForce One Relocation to KI?
I'm in the same boat. I think if Kings Island ever got an RMC, it would be best if it had 3 trains for better capacity. AF1 has two trains with only 5 cars instead of the usual 6. I think the layout for AF1 would also make it awkward to fit into either Vortex plot or Action Zone, assuming that's where it would go. I think AF1 would be a better fit at a park like Holiday World (especially the 4th of July area with that color scheme) but there's still no telling what's going to happen to AF1 at this point in time.

Holiday World Making a Big Splash in 2027 with Cannonball!
This ride is costing Holiday World $22 million, so I would imagine a larger version of that would cost Kings Island at least $25 million, maybe even over $30 million which would make it more expensive than Orion. I think realistically if we get a new water ride, it would be something like what Carowinds is getting with Rip Roarin' Falls.

Holiday World Making a Big Splash in 2027 with Cannonball!
Glad to see a Mack Water Coaster finally come to the Midwest! The closest one as of right now is Journey to Atlantis at SeaWorld Orlando.

Six Flags and Cedar Fair Merge
I don't think anybody is going to argue Millennium Force and Maverick not being in the upper tier coasters of that park.

Silver Dollar City 2027 Addition
It wouldn't be the first time Silver Dollar City has done that. (Looking at you, Fire in the Hole) Although, I hope they give this new coaster its own name and theme outside of Thunderation.

Silver Dollar City 2027 Addition
Nothing is confirmed at the moment, but the rumor is that it's going to be a Mack Rides family launch coaster. Something like what Wiener Prater is adding for next year. I would guess it would be a spiritual successor to Thunderation.

Guess you could say it really "rocked" their wallet...

Fun Spot Atlanta closing for good on August 2nd, 2026.
Looking at this construction photo, the plot seems pretty flat from what I’m able to see. The only complication I could see is the area where it goes over the arcade building.

Fun Spot Atlanta closing for good on August 2nd, 2026.
This press release was just released by Fun Spot. If you haven't been on Arieforce One yet, I would recommend trying to go down there if possible. This park is located about 30 minutes from Six Flags Over Georgia.

How much longer for Congo Falls?
Nothing is confirmed yet, but if this does end up being the end for Congo Falls... I don't think it's being removed for a future attraction. It's incredibly weird timing to be closing this ride right at the start of summer instead of Labor Day weekend. That only signals to me that it's removal is due to high maintenance costs and the plot will sit vacant for a while. Just like a certain "other" plot that has been sitting vacant for 6 years...

How much longer for Congo Falls?
Was anyone at the park today and saw Congo Falls running?

2027 speculation
After riding Rapterra with how shaky that ride is… yeah, I don’t think Kings Island needs another B&M.

Meal Plan and Dining options
Okay, that’s good to know because I’m currently in Virginia and going to Kings Dominion Tomorrow to Wednesday.

Meal Plan and Dining options
There's something I want to get some clarification on. I currently have a Kings Island Gold Season Pass with the all-park passport, all-day dining, and drink plan. I recently found out that Six Flags changed their add-ons so that they work with any park that your pass has access to. Since my Gold Season Pass has the all-park passport, will that make it so I can use my dining and drink plans at other Six Flags parks? I'm going to Kings Dominion next week, as well as Carowinds and Cedar Point later on in the year.

Carowinds 2027 addition
This applies to both Rip Roarin' Falls and Werewolf Gorge. With the current "budget" of Six Flags, I'm wondering just how much of the theming presented in the ride animations are actually going to appear in the final products.

Holiday World has started teasing "something" for 2027
I don't think they're necessarily trying to make people think Boulder Canyon is a new name. I think a lot of people at the park recognize it as a homage to the former Raging Rapids ride. Also, you might want to double-check how you spell the word "shirts"

Kentucky Kingdom
The park was packed when I went opening day, and there was a huge crowd that showed up for the opening of Flying Fox. Attendance definitely seems to be higher than it was before Herschend started investing into the park. It's worth noting that Kentucky Kingdom still competes with Holiday World and Kings Island. However, Holiday World doesn't invest into new attractions very often, and Kings Island's investments have been slightly diminished due to the merger with Six Flags. If Herschend continues to consistently invest into Kentucky Kingdom, it may become much more enticing to get a season pass there, not to mention their season passes are still the cheapest of the three parks.

Kings Island General Discussion 2026
Maybe? It was hauling when I rode it yesterday, but I thought it was just because of the higher temperature.

Kings Island General Discussion 2026
Sad to hear about the stuff about Great America this season. I went there back in 2024 (this was right after the merger) and everything but Flash was running multiple trains.

Holiday World has started teasing "something" for 2027
Coming back to this after nearly a year. Looking at the construction site and teasers, I'm going to predict that this is going to be some sort of Mack Rides Water Coaster. The teaser website seems to hint at some sort of water attraction with the "boiling water advisory". In addition, the trough that has been constructed seems to be similar to the troughs that are used for Mack Water Coasters. If it does end up becoming a Mack Rides Water Coaster, it would be the first in this region of the United States. There are only two traditional Mack Rides Water Coasters in the country, both of them being Journey to Atlantis at SeaWorld Orlando and SeaWorld San Diego. It would also make sense for Holiday World, as they label themselves as the "Water Coaster Capital of the World", although this type of Water Coaster is different from the water slide variants. Kings Island 2026 Food Reviews and Discussion
For my preference, I like the tenders at Grain & Grill the most. Chicken Shack is also a good option if you want them with fries and toast.
