  1. Beware, buying through CW means you'll miss out on the incredible Pass Perks that Kings Island frequently sends out.
  2. You're fine. Nothing changes with current pass.
  3. Glad they made 2 home park dining plans and 2 all parks dining plans that are the same price and work exactly the same. No way those could have been combined into 2 products. Then, cut the petty $19 to use it other places and you really start making things simple.
  4. Changing to 5, once a day, skip the line passes seems brutal for folks accustomed to the free FL wristband. I always visit once in the fall to take advantage of that. Good chance that doesn't happen now.
  5. Platinum is currently $290.
  6. Schlitterbahn now selling 2024 platinum passes as of today. https://www.schlitterbahn.com/new-braunfels/season-passes
  7. 2 different promo emails were sent. Daily tickets for $39.99. BAF are $29.99. Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason which promo email people received. Doesn't matter, no special link or code is needed; both currently available on their site.
  8. Earlier, during the week, it was $5 for Orion, $7.50 for FOF.
  9. Carowinds started a Chaperon policy program today as well. Wonder if all parks are going to enact this.
  10. I can see that point of view. I like the teamwork it takes to unlock things, etc. I like the leaderboard outside and shooting for maxing it out. But yes, it's a glorified video game. Just well done for a park shooter, has personality, and is bright. It's also fun for a group of people together. Curious what this walking Minions thing ends up being at Universal. Guessing it's strictly screens and more Cupfusion like than MIB.
  11. Not sure if I've missed this along the way but do we have Carnivale dates yet or strong rumors?
  12. 2 great shooters out there, IMO. Cupfusion at Hershey and MIB at Universal. Both of these have a potential max score. Both are great rides. Cardboard blacklight cutouts are certainly dated. I like Toy Story and have it in tier 2. Both hold a good line and keep people occupied. Once you're hooked, you have to keep riding until you max out.
  13. It's the weekend before memorial day. Tickets on sale soon. Looks like we'll have a schedule before the on sale, too.
  14. Made my first ever visit to Winterfest on Dec 30. Wife and I had a great time. Watched most of the shows, saw the animals, had dinner, and walked around. Nice evening. Parade had to stop midway due to rain but we got to see all the groups. Got lucky with light crowds after the day before was slammed. Park looked really nice with all the lights and decorations.
  15. You're Too Old to Trick or Treat is really good. I don't recall seeing much talk about this. The cast is great.
  16. On Saturdays and Sunday I'm assuming bags are fine if they are in the park by 6pm? (or whatever hour they select) What time do they cut off bag entry?
  17. Thanks for the responses. I'm hoping I can make two of these events. Land of Illusion and Dent appear to be good choices but the cave interests me. Distance there is a problem. I'm also interested in the Mt Healthy location. I like the fact it's very home grown and they do canned food drives, etc. Not sure I can really go wrong here it seems. Thanks to anyone else that may share opinions here. What about Brimstone? Website looks good but I don't think anyone mentioned it.
  18. In town 2 nights. Doing KI Haunt one night. Any other recommendations in the area? Dent? Land of Illusion? Thanks.
  19. FWIW, KD offered both fast and fight lanes in their initial 2023 sales.
  20. It's a piece of paper. Hand it to anyone.
  21. "Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis with all sales day of at the door."
  22. I believe it's going to change week to week. It's not burgers and chicken tenders.
  23. Unless VIP area access is important, you're better off only getting one of the bundle package if you have a full car load going. Not everyone needs to pay for funpix and parking. May 23rd for example: It's ~$170 for a addmission, fl+, and prem dining. So basically $30 for VIP access. I'd imagine this varies by day some, but worth pricing it out if you have a group going and looking to save a few bucks.
  24. $100 for adults if you don't want to click through to see the price.
