My only issue with that is that the layout matches the clearing. It’s possible someone drew it based off of how much clearing was already done, but how would they have known it was finished? I know it’s possible that there might be more clearing, but I doubt it.

And? That doesn’t mean you do it too. Anyways, does anyone think that reply to Chad on Twitter yesterday was a little hint to the new coaster? I feel like the #constellation was a little coincidental with all the talk going on about the space theme and the Polaris and Orion names.

I thought that was a pic from today! I would expect that turnaround area to need more clearing. Patiently waiting for more pics

The clearing also looks pretty thin where the turnaround is supposed to be. If you look at the clearing around Diamondbacks turnaround, it looks much larger. For a rumored treble cleft (I think is the right term) turnaround, it doesn’t look like it will fit there. Which, again, makes me unsure of what to think about the layout and clearing.

I think there were 6 pedestals? Or at least 5. I think what I liked was the symmetry. I’m impressed with the new fountains though. They do seem to shoot much higher and seem a bit more grand than before. That’s why I’m excited to see the entire finished product.

I’m waiting to make my full judgement after Memorial Day weekend. We’ve been told that they aren’t finished and won’t be until that time. Another user said that they’re running the old programs through these nozzles, so they aren’t being utilized to their full potential. I can agree that something seems off about them. They don’t look as majestic or fitting to KI, and they do not compliment the tower very well.

That’s reasonable to think. It just doesn’t line up with what they have done with the past three coasters they’ve added. It’s been interesting watching this one unfold. I have to say it’s been awesome seeing everyone get so excited about this one.

I also thought it’s been weird to not see any teasers yet. This has been a very very interesting and weird construction/teaser timeline.

All I can say @RuthlessAirtime is thank you. I am so torn on what this is. I just can’t see them putting in a giga that small, but so many things point towards a giga. But you’ve made some great points on why it might not be. I am at a loss of what to think about it at this. I’m just going to keep checking in on this thread and see how it all unfolds.

That would would make more sense with the talk about Firehawks removal decision being made mid-summer. However, the layout plans have the antique autos shown, so I doubt this is from prior to 2018.

I personally don’t care about records. A giga is a giga. I was only concerned about the length, but that mock up using the leaked layout looked awesome. I am very excited for this coaster!!

What do you guys mean early?? Banshee and Diamondback both had clearing and footings poured before opening day in 2013 and 2008. To me, this has a late start.

I remember reading a lot of posts saying it was, so that’s very interesting to me.

So about that decision to remove Firehawk mid-summer... Was that a lie? How could they have planned for this coaster before deciding to remove FH?

Well yeah, they have Flight of Fear, but they didn’t create or theme that. That was Paramount.

So about the theme... this will be Cedar Fairs first sci-fi kind of ride in a long time, right? If it is themed to space. The last thing I can recall them making space themed is Disaster Transport.

I’m pretty sure the video was created using the layout that leaked. I don’t think that’s a leaked official animation. I’m hoping the final design is like the one in the animation, it looks awesome
