Also,(sorry if it’s alright been suggested so far) , what if these posters are also hinting at a possible expansion to x-base after the 2020 coaster, maybe all of the extinct ki rides have something to do with the overall purpose of x-base, or maybe the coaster will be themed off of these extinct ki rides like zodiac and etc, the posters could be leading everyone to what the ride might be but what if it’s actually just hinting towards the overall theme of x-base as a whole

Kinda late to the decoding party, but has anyone suggested a cipher or anything that might be in play for these posters, or try to arrange the posters by how many total “tests” were put in or something like that?

I’m personally very excited for this as I hope to get into the whole monster jam driver /industry, I might be in an internship next year with one of the monster jam independent teams (bounty hunter/scarlet bandit)

I was there for winterfest on Friday and I had an amazing time, even though fof had broken down and so had mystic later on in the evening, I loved the tree and the lights that were displayed and I also love the refillable hot chocolate mugs( not really mugs but it felt like a mug though)

imagine if the name of the coaster was fear of flight

yeah,but can we could both agree that the roughest/weirdest lift hill(s) are from AE as for what coaster i believe will be taken down, i hope its The Bat,I haven't rode Firehawk as much so id love to ride it a whole lot more.

the other four could be the coasters in the kids area so that means they wouldnt be mature enough to join the funeral

what was the 12th coaster at the park? just wondering because in an article it shows that there are 12 "grown up" coasters and there are only 11 chairs set up

Another dumb thought,what are the chance that it’s not a coaster at all,what if it’s TR:TR building,think about it,they announce it near the closing date for haunt and that gives them time to take it down(including the haunt stuff inside of it

Just a dumb thought,but what are the chances that on the other side of the tombstone in the middle would already have the engraving of whatever is going away any chances it could be Drop Tower,it too,has been through tons of downtime this season

does this mean that some rides will be open to guests throughout the night?

does anyone know what became of the old SOB crate,as for my opinion on SoB, I never got the chance to ride it,but i do remember the size of that thing up close while it was still SBNO,if they decided to keep it there a few more years maybe they would've considered making a RMC remake,but I am glad it was removed for Banshee.

does anyone else feel like this would end up being a oval track? because technically, if it goes over the old flight commander pad, it would need to be on a steep incline to reach the top of it(does anyone know what the speed of the cars will be going?) and that would mean possible breakdowns of the motor or other parts of the car

its going to be quite cramped because the killmart building was confirmed to be staying where its at

I’m super glad I got my 2019 gold passes today and that this is coming next year,sure it might have a few negatives but I honestly cannot wait to see this because I have never experienced it yet,but I still kinda wish it would’ve been in the DA area btw,was anyone at the park today when Mystic Timbers broke down,because it broke down when I was on it and we had to wait outside of the shed area for a short period of time

The flight commander pad wasn’t always used for flight commander,it was used for something else(like a gerbal ball type thing I believe) and that area closed down a few years ago,and the killmart thing would’ve been probably easy to relocate in the part,same goes with the DA entrance area

Ok guys,let’s not get off topic now,in my opinion,I’m very excited for this and I think this is good decision but it came too late,the area of where it’s supposed to be at has been down for a few years now,if we hadn’t gotten this announcement a few years ago,It would’ve been a good move by KI

Before I rant about this,I’m not trying to sound rude or mean about this 1.Kings Island is owned by Cedar Fair right,they made the posters right? 2.did I state that anyone at KI had made those posters,NO! 3. In my second opinion on the negative side thing,I was only comparing the hype with Mystic Timbers because if you recall,there was so much hype in both mystic and antique,but when the shed was revealed,everyone believed that they put too much hype into it,same with antique,if they go out and say something is coming back,what major ride comes to mind SOB,and then when antique was announced,the same effect happened

Here is my full opinion about this announcement Positve side 1.we are finally getting antique cars back Negative Side 1.bad location,with the recent (yes I know it was last year but I’m going to say it was recent) closer of DA,that leaves tons of trail space that could be used for antique cars and it would make it feel special for newcomers who have never heard of it yet 2.just like Mystic Timbers(the shed in particular),so much hype was put into this(even though it was last minute hype,it still gained tons of attention) and then they let most of the SOB fanbase down 3.in my opinion,in order to make this version of antique cars cool/special,so much refurb is needed in that area that it would probably take a long period of time 4.if Cedar Fair had fully looked into what they produce (I’m talking about those outpost 5 posters people) then they would have fully known how many people would believe that sob was return,this announcement is what I believe to be poor marketing for a ride and a mistake by Cedar Fair/Kings Island.

What did the posters look like,I haven’t been too active recently/up to date on coaster news and etc EDIT:sorry about this comment,I started on the first page of this feed and I didn’t see how many pages there were yet,and I was completely confused about it,sorry

I could definitely see a revamp of Son of Beast in x-base happening at some point
