Mean Streak Gets the Axe September 16th
An extra 40 feet in height will need significant reinforcement on the current structure.

There were railroad tracks in the photo.

Improving Que Lines
My concern with current queues is the lack of accurate wait times. If I don't know how long I could be waiting, I can't start planning the next ride until after I exit.

Disney's MagicBand vs. Universal's TapuTapu
Less time waiting in line is more time to spend money.

Mystic Timbers Construction Progress
I'd estimate about 2/3 finished with the lift hill. The rest should go up pretty quickly. The crossover is the last "tall" part of the ride.

Custom Coasters International
I inquired about sending a resume and they responded with a child t-shirt and a couple pictures.

It has been working for me all day. There are some nice pictures posted over at TPR from today.

As the hills get smaller, the crane should be able to reach out further without losing balance. And that's assuming they need it very much before the turn.

So, I found this on Facebook, but I don't know who originated the photo... but I-Box confirmed on site: http://i.imgur.com/lcUlYUl.jpg

Mystic Timbers Construction Progress
Sorry if I misled. I know they are. I was suggesting that someone interested in the development of Mystic Timbers may want to check out the work being done to Mean Streak for themselves.

Mystic Timbers Construction Progress
Be sure to check out the work being done on Mean Streak. Word on the street (in pictures) is that they are attaching steel cross beams to the pre-lift section already.

RMC at KI?
I'd bet my Platinum pass that it is just a generic crane truck. There's no reason to assume RMC would be on site.
-
RMC at KI?
He has stated in interviews that he prefers the smaller rides, because he can do more without worrying about exceeding stress levels. Larger rides require larger pullouts and transitions between design elements.

RMC at KI?
They still offer the Topper Track refurbishment, but they are booked for full scale designs through 2017 and into 2018. And this was said 2 years ago at IAAPA.

Volcano at KD does not stop before launching on any if it's launches. Maverick at CP rolls right into its second launch too. *At fast speeds.. At least that's what I was told by several people before many years ago. I wasn't the one claiming this btw I wonder how those people would explain impulse coasters?

Those are probably for the abutments and small bridge we saw in the plans.

Red paint has been spotted on Hurler's footers. Pictures were posted over at TPR.

It makes a difference when you are comparing the first conversion they ever did, out of a factory significantly smaller than what they have now. Do we really think this one MUST take longer? CP hasn't had many problems getting rides constructed during the Erie winters before. They have 7 full months to get this thing running if they are looking at 2017.

And RMC has dramatically increased their annual capacity... Just looking at all angles
-
Mystic Timbers Construction Progress
Probably because the smaller machine can get around the site easier.

Don't you need to know the radius of the turn as well? Having the velocity and banking will give you the radius at 0 laterals (~190ft), but without knowing the radius of the turn you won't know the lateral acceleration.
