25 points@malem and I have asked very nicely and multiple times in the last few days to stay on topic, to be respectful, and for the language to be family friendly. At this point we continue to see this being ignored. We will be cleaning up this thread to the topic at hand. Anyone who continues to not follow these simple rules will be getting a warning and possible loss of posting privileges. We have hesitated on taking this harsh of a stand. Guys, we are in the middle of making history at Kings Island with what appears to be the biggest investment ever. KI may not get another investment like this for decades. Are you going to remember and celebrate it with your KIC family, or are you you going to possibly miss out because you did not agree with someone's post?25 points

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make it to KI this year, but I did have the opportunity to go to Carowinds for the first time. I think it will be a whole plaza overhaul which includes restrooms and maybe even a restaurant. The reasons are as follows... 1. Last year, Carowinds did a whole area makeover adding a restaurant and flying eagles and retheme to Blue Ridge Junction on top of their pricey new Mack coaster. 2. KI has been prepping the entire Coney Mall area for additional attendance the past two years. They’ve added Coney BBQ, King Mills Antiques, and a new Racer lighting package. 3. I don’t think they would build all of coney mall up and not do anything with the infrastructure IN Xbase with this huge new investment. 3. The recent CF 2nd quarter earnings conference mentioned they were spending similar capital for 2020 as compared to last year. Last year they spent $130 million and built 2 pricey coasters. This is the only coaster known expected this year for CF and expected to cost roughly $30 million. That leaves a lot of extra capital for themeing and plaza improvements. 4. They’ve built a giant new barn back in the woods. They may have even built two by now (Our spy plane could sort this out cough cough@sixohdieselrage ). This could replace the current plush barn and maintenance building. This would open the whole area for a plaza. 6. None of this would be shown on the Project X blueprint as they are separate projects. We never saw blueprints for the new barn in the woods for the same reason. 7. In addition to the speculation about the physical make up of this coaster coming to a head with an eminent announcement, there is a full moon this week. It is well documented that the lunar cycle can affect the mental well being and actions of people, that's why mental health institutions were originally called lunatic asylums. I also can see anecdotal evidence of this at the hospital I work at, and I have experience in behavioral health. If you can control your response, consider PMing someone you consider to need correction. It's the nice thing to do. This page has been labeled “Entry Plaza Concept.” Really, the only major things they are doing are: The giga, queue, and station Ride photo building at Flight of Fear lockers Firehawk’s queue tied to Flight of Fear Removal of that little food stand. The plush barn and maintenance buildings are staying. The path will be the same size, unfortunately.
8 points8 pointsSo after thinking for the last 3 days that we didn't get any photos from the tower of the construction site as I thought the battery went dead on the camera, I went down the tower before my wife could tell me she brought an extra battery, and just telling me tonight she got photos, I'm going to post what she shot on Saturday. Wasn't much going on, but on some she could get pretty close... Also adding DB splashdown from the tower lol

No one wants to kill the fun, but let's try to stay on-topic as much as possible in this thread. Other threads exist to discuss other topics, including the random discussion thread for posts that don't fit into any topic. The arguing and disrespect has really gotten out of hand here.
