  1. Sorry folks, SOB is closed. The moose out front should have told you.
  2. Got an email from Don about this year's event. Don confirmed that The Racer will once again be the "featured ride" and also said some "new things" will be incorporated, including behind-the-scenes tours and last ride of the night on The Beast. More details are still to come.

Good. I've never liked ads that make stuff on my computer. Or iPhone, for that matter. Unstuffy Terpy, sleepless in Seattle.
  4. ^And there are, what looks like, working trams on it.
  5. Considering we are talking about Kings Island, your statement is void. Thanks for the vid CoasterGeek. A lot of great ride footage in there. And great song choice. Can't go wrong with Newsboys.
  6. Much like every comment ever made in any SOB thread. Including this one.
  7. Maybe I just don't pay attention, but there really aren't that many songs I relate to Kings Island. I know music is always playing, but the only place I ever listen/hear it to remember is on the train. I can't help but assume that for Gator, this song/movie soundtrack reminds him of The Beach more than KI
  8. It's been haunting KI as long as it's been there.
  9. I think it would be interesting to be able to tour KI's various maintenance buildings, garages, offices, boardrooms, etc. I would think the planning of these various "infrastructure" buildings was as complex as the park itself when they built the park.
  10. As others have pointed out, that looks like it it within 3cm of 1974! It lines up perfectly!
  11. 2011, the trees are nice for summer days, surf dog is nice, and the helicopters re nice to look at "flying" around Planet Snoopy. I don't remember the yellow paint job on Scooby Doo/Woodstock, looks different. Again nice job, these are nice pics today!
