June 21, 200719 yr I just got off pki.com and i was thinking... Isn't it time that pki.com changes they're pictures for some rides??? Go here Firehawk's picture is it's logo. Drop Zone's picture doesn't really show the ride. Face/Off's picture isn't even Face/Off. Flight of Fear's picture still has the OTSR. Top Gun's picture shows it with an old paint job. Son of Beast's picture has it's old trains. [They should change the picture when ever the ride opens back up.]
June 21, 200719 yr ^ Over 90% of the normal world (hey we are all enthusiasts- nothing normal about us! ) won't even know the difference.
June 21, 200719 yr Yes, I have learned that businesses do not keep their doors open because of "enthusiasts".
June 21, 200719 yr TRTR has effects working and people look like they are having fun!!!!! What's your point?
June 21, 200719 yr TRTR has effects working and people look like they are having fun!!!!! What's your point? And THAT's proof positive it's an old picture. A really old one!
June 22, 200719 yr Speaking of website needing updating, even CP's site has some old stuff. On at least one of their roller coaster pages it mentions them having 16 coasters which is obviously wrong with their addition of Maverick... Wicked Twister
June 22, 200719 yr My guess is that KI's website will undergo some major rehab in the near future. Because not only are the pictures on the site terribly out dated, but my guess is that Cedar Fair will want to change the site's URL soon, to drop the 'P' from pki.com. Hopefully they completely redo the site to make it in the same format as Cedar Point's site.
June 22, 200719 yr its already a Cedar Fair web site. if you type in pki.com it will go there, but the url will change to Cedar Fair.
June 22, 200719 yr But it does NOT have the look or feel of a Cedar Fair website. Rather, it seems like a mishmash mess, as that is what it IS.
June 22, 200719 yr Yep. It is essentially still the old Paramount Parks website, that Cedar Fair has simply tweaked here and there. Primarily they have removed most of the traces of the Paramount logo. But it does not have the look or feel, as mentioned, of the Cedar Fair legacy park websites.
June 22, 200719 yr I'm sure CF will get around to updating the website. It needs an overhaul anyways. I've found it very difficult to navigate sometimes.
June 24, 200719 yr Author It would be awesome if KI's website wpuld get a animated picture of the parks skyline like CP. =]
