Restraints for FireHawk

Featured Replies

Hey everyone!

This is my first post on KIC... I've been a lurker though for 8 months. My cousin and I are probably going to make a trip to KI on the last week of June. My question to you is this.. what kind of restraints are on FH? I'm asking because my cousin... well... is a BIG girl. She's 5'6 and weighs around 310. Is there anything that has to lock onto eachother, and for any of you that have ridden FH have you saw anyone be turned away or a larger person ride? And try to be nice... she is my cousin and I lover her ;) I just know that two years ago we went to ride FOF and the seatbelt was a half inch from clicking and she couldn't ride.

Thanks for all your expertise :)

Chrissy

Firehawk's restraints seem to have a pretty good rider size capacity, even with the two click rule. I didn't test the adjustment of the vest, but I saw several large riders ride without a problem.

5'6'' and 310? Oh my... I can get her in.

Be nice.... this is my family we're talking about.. and be thankful you don't have a weight problem ;)

We have turned no one down yet... the Firehawk and the crew is big people friendly.

I can't see here having any problems. The shoulder restraints are very flexible. They are not typical OTSR like Vortex and Top Gun. They are some sort of very heavy but flexible material that looks similar to backpack straps (IMO).

Sorry, I thought he was being sarcastic, I didn't mean to step on anyone's toes. And thank you all for your insight, I truly appreciate it :)
