Is Toyota A Sponser of Cedar Fairs?

Featured Replies

I am just a kid who loves Kings Island.. but the only time I get to visit the park is when they have the Special Toyota Employee Day in September. When CF bought out the park, did Toyota stay as a sponser? I'm getting a little "over paranoid" about this and I'm worrying if I can ever go to KI again..

Well, I don`t think that the Toyota day at the park was necessarily because Toyota was a sponsor of the park. It is likely because Toyota decided to rent out the park for its employees and their families. Just like Proctor & Gamble rents out KI for a weekend in September. Back in 1998, Toyota wasn`t even a sponsor of the park, GM was.

I`d imagine that the corporate buyouts will continue under Cedar Fair ownership. But that is just my guess.

Whew.. I do hope that can continue, as that is the only time me and my family are able to visit.

Rest assured, so long as Toyota wants to rent out Kings Island, Cedar Fair will be glad to do so (as long as they can agree on pricing and terms).

Picnics and buyouts are a major part of Cedar Point's business. I am sure it will be that way at Kings Island, too. Note, too, that the September days when the park is usually closed for buyouts appear as days when the park isn't open to the public this year, too!

I'd say you are no doubt on your way to Kings Island this fall! :)

Woot! :D

And the weird thing is.. We were planning our family vacation to go to Florida in July... but the final pricedown was almost 1000 dollars. So, we decided to skip that and hit KI for two days. Odd, eh?
