Gold Passes are Back - Press Release

Ok, I got official word from the park:

Gold pass benefits are available for Maxx Pass and Maxx Pass Plus pass holders, but are only valid at Kings Island.

As far as parking goes. Your parking will be integrated into your season pass barcode, as it has been in the past. If you have an All Ohio pass, you will be able to swipe your pass at Kings Island, but will receive a sticker for Geauga Lake and Cedar Point.

And to reiterate, that's all true only if you bought your Maxx pass at Kings Island...Maxx passes get home park benefits ONLY at the park where purchased... My other question remains unanswered...what happens to those of us who bought season pass parking at Kings Island but have a Maxx pass from another Cedar Fair park? Is it sticker time?

It sounds that way because if you have a Kings Island all Ohio Pass you will receive a sticker for GL and CP. So I would say if you were to have a Max Pass but not your home parks Max Pass then you will have either a pass strictly dedicated for parking at KI or just a sticker.

I think it would have been easier just to include parking for all parks on the barcode and screw making it seperate for each park. Im sure these issues will be worked out by the time we got to renew again.
