January 24, 200719 yr Wow! Sounds awesome! I`m kind of surprised to see one of those perks in there (the gold pass parking area). I`m glad that all passes that were already bought are automatically upgraded. Glad to hear that some of these awesome perks are back!
January 24, 200719 yr This made my day, I'm glad parking will remain on your pass like it has been. I wonder if they already had a lot of complaints about the stickers?
January 24, 200719 yr Must've either been lots of complaints or someone wised up and decided a sticker wasn't a good idea. Don't forget that before this announcement, the parking pass description *did* say it would be a windshield decal...so something changed their minds.
January 24, 200719 yr Does the gold pass privileges also apply to people who bought a maxx pass or just Kings Island only pass?
January 24, 200719 yr I'm wondering the same thing. Even if Maxx pass holders don't get gold pass benefits I'm still glad to have the parking on my pass instead of my window. Can I buy an all Ohio parking pass from Kings Island or is that only available at Cedar Point? I don't see it on the Kings Island website so I'm not sure. How do I add parking to my pass?
January 24, 200719 yr I am new to this whole season pass thing i finally bought a season pass for me and my wife but i have heard that there are special days where you can bring a friend for free is that true or is it just someone's imagination?
January 24, 200719 yr Bring a Friend Free Days are not listed as part of the perks (Gold Pass) so I'm wondering if BAFD's are a thing of the past.
January 24, 200719 yr Yeah and I don't recommend going on Bring a Friend free day. I did it once and that was it for me. Edit- I wouldn't miss it. I think it gave people who didn't usually go to the park a bad experience with all the lines and everything.
January 24, 200719 yr Nothing like waiting 2hrs for The Beast ,all Ques Full. Or 45+ minutes for Racer. Which may not seem bad except when compared to its lines on a normal day.
January 24, 200719 yr So basically bring a friend day sux cuz everything takes forever to get a ride on. Thanks for the knowledge
January 24, 200719 yr ^Yeah there's a line for everything you can think of, even from the highway all the way to the entrance. I even saw lines for games. But that was a while ago I don't know if it's changed any. But yeah my advice is to avoid Bring a Friend Free Days if they still have them.
January 24, 200719 yr Does the gold pass privileges also apply to people who bought a maxx pass or just Kings Island only pass? Per Linda at KI she stated that ALL Passes bought at the park prior to May 27th are eligible for Gold Pass Benefits. I too bought a maxx pass so im glad I saw this thread

January 26, 200719 yr I doubt it. Sounds to me as if GOld passes are only if you bought your pass at KI.

I bought mine online in October and had to go through the season pass line, however they were not taking pictures yet so I'll have to go back through line again to get my pic taken. Hopefully I wont have to wait an hour plus this time to.

You should have gotten a temporary pass, and when they scan it at the front gate your pic comes up on the monitor.

January 27, 200719 yr I bought my pass in October of last year at Kings Island and I bought a parking pass for the 2 home parks in Ohio that are close to me can I convert these to an all Ohio pass for parking? The parking is going to be on the passes again for all Ohio parks or just KI? Where did you here this info about Gold Pass Perks?
January 27, 200719 yr pki.com has all the information about Gold Pass Perks, they also put out a press release, which can be viewed on pki.com.
January 28, 200719 yr And there are instructions at Cedar Point's website on how to upgrade to an Ohio parking pass---note that you will only get credit for amounts you actually PAID for park parking (free parking does not count towards the cost of the Ohio parking pass). Also, according to that website, the all Ohio parking pass is a sticker, and is not available if it is raining (!): http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/admission...passes/info.cfm
January 29, 200719 yr I'm glad the Gold Pass Perks are back. The all Ohio parking pass is a sticker that's a bummer. I wish it was a pass or on our pass somehow like KI is/was in the past.
