Was at the KY State Fairgrounds yesterday for something unrelated to Kentucky Kingdom... but I did manage to sneak a peek at the construction happening in the front of the park.  (For posterity, no trespassing involved.  These were taken from outside the park, in full view from the parking lot.)

Pretty obvious what's going on IMO.   They will really be shoe-horning the "new attraction" in there...

It looks like you can see some of the paint for the footers between the flags. I wonder how far Herschend is going to go with their reimagining of the park beyond bringing it up to their standards. Maybe we'll see more redesigns like Discovery Meadow in 2026 and the coming years!

Sand box? Oooo! 

I am guessing it'll be like Dragonflier at Dollywood. Honestly, it's such a good ride, so it'd be great to have it at KK.

Shipping documents were posted a few months back that described what type of attraction it is. Other than that, I think there's a possibility we may see a second attraction where breakdance was, either a new flat ride or a relocation of Skycatcher would be my guess.

It seems the park is going to give this area a farm-based theme. In a similar fashion to Wind Chaser and Woodland Run, I imagine Lightning Run might also get a new name to fit with the new theme.
